Anyone do the 1/4 window exchange thru Dugan Racing??

Holy Crap.... Its not worth paying them $300. I did mine and spent around $125, but I had enough material left over to do at least 5 more sets. What do you have a coupe or hatchback? I have an extra set of hatchback 1/4 windows that I could redo and swap out with you for a lot more...

    Best Coilovers??

IMOP Griggs makes the best coilover kit available. If you just looking for a lowered car then the difference between Griggs and everyone else isnt worth the money. But if you want the best and you have the money to spend then go with Griggs. I did not write this, a friend of mine with a GR-40...

Anyone do the 1/4 window exchange thru Dugan Racing??

What do they have going on? I have done buisness with them in the past once and will never do it with them again. Tom Dugan is a parts pusher not a true Mustang lover. I dont know what they have going on for this exchange, but Im curious. I have fixed mine and it is not that tough.

    Painting Window Molding

In order for this to work. You will need an Adhesion Promoter, PPG 801, I believe. Spray it on first, no reduction is required then wait 20 minutes before anything else then apply primer and then paint it just like normal. Flex additive will do nothing for you, except make it runnier...

    ENGINE HELP NEEDED (410 Stroker)

Listen to Rick on this one. We both have gone through it and it is almost crazy how fast it adds up. Take your figures and double them, then you'll be in the ballpark. With a 410 stroker you will need a good solid tranny and clutch, and maybe even a clutch quadrant, so expect an easy $2000...

popping under floorpan, what is it?

Have you checked out your tranny mount bushings? Check and make sure that all your mounts are tight and bushings are still in good shape.

    New project

I have talked to a couple dyno guys and they all said that the Performer RPM is a lazy intake and they have never seen much hp over 5000 RPM with it. I think that the Performer RPM is a street intake for a very mild motor. Whats the problem with the Victor Jr. intake? They work really well at...

    Carb swap Q.

You probably wont even need 8psi. I am running 7psi with my setup and have thought about turning it down. With my fuel lines I could probably get by with 4psi. In a carbed car all you have to do is run enough fuel pressure to keep the fuel bowls full. I would not recommend running your...

    MSD Digital 6, Tach problem....

Why not just plug the tach into your ignition box? I have mine plugged into the side of the box with the provided spade connector. Never had any problems with the tach not working, but I also have a Autometer Sport Comp and the stock tach no longer works.

    Msd distributor ?

The only reason I have a MSD is because I needed a small base distributor to work with my intake. One thing I do like is the whole MSD setup. I use the pro billet distributor, Digital 6+ and Blaster 2 coil. Its a mechanical advance, so I just locked it out and elminated any advance to it, and...

Longevity of a 4.6 DOHC motor

Im looking to sell the Road Race built 93 mustang and get a 96-98 Cobra. Question now is how long do the DOHC 4.6 motors last? I am planning on driving it everyday and also having fun on the weekends. Also will be hitting up probably all 4 AutoX events at a local track and then also will be...

    driving with open headers OK?

Exactly like stated above. Be careful not to shut it off if it is cold out. If its cold out find a warm garage to shut it off in, or pull it up on ramps and shove rags in the headers so that the valves wont cool down to quickly and warp stuff. Ive never had it happen before but I always shove...

A question for people with experience painting base / clear...like Redfire 4 example!

Depending on the color, and what your laying it over. Usually I apply 3 coats, I have done 4 before. Most paint companies require you to "achieve hiding" usually 2-3 coats of base.

A question for people with experience painting base / clear...like Redfire 4 example!

As long as you use the same gun, with the same fluid tip, at the same air pressure, with the same amount of basecoats applied, you should not have a problem. Watch your air pressure and apply the same amount of coats. IMOP flex additive is a waste of money for painting your mustang parts...

    Hooking the airbags back up

Take it to a shop and ask them to test the air bag sensors and get rid of the flashing light. It "should" be as easy as pushing a couple buttons and spending about 15 minutes on it.

    throttle cable

Junk yard would be the cheaper way to go,or call Lokar and get one of their cables, but it will require some work to get it to work correctly with your stock pedal. Maybe try NMRARacing.com theres a lot of hardcore racers on there that have carbed motors and have pulled their old EFI cables out.

Gas Pedal & Hood Latch problems - help!

You still have the factory rubber bumpstops on the car? You should try removing them and see if the hood will latch once they are removed. I cant remember if the Mustangs are threaded or just a push in bump stop? I think they are threaded, and if so try screwing them down to allow the hood to...

Gas Pedal & Hood Latch problems - help!

Theres 2 nuts that hold the pedal down to the floorpan. Take them out and that will allow you to move the pedal around and get a better look at the back side of the pedal. Next for your hood latch. First line it up side to side, so that the metal loop on the hood is centered in your latch...
