    i've read on several posts where guys will take a hammer to their headers to make them fit. i'd REALLY have a hard time doing that to a brand new set of headers. is that what mean by..."it can be done" ??

    if i understand it correctly, you both took the piece apart at or near the k-member. NOT the bolt at the firewall. i'll have to look at it a bit closer to see where all the bolts are on the k-member end. thanks for the input.

    i did a search and went through a 1/2 dozen pages and didn't see anything..... i was taking the stock k-member off this weekend and got all the nuts and bolts out and was lowering it down with the floor jack making sure i had everything removed. all looked great until the driver's side...

    here's my .02 i don't think it will matter what bank backs it up. as long as it's a visa or mastercard. those are the 2 companies that are most widely accepted. go with whatever bank will give you the best rates. make sure you are not late on the payments and you should be good...

    5 spoke wheels? Mustang or aftermarket

    a guy i know has a set of ford wheels that he says came off of a mustang. Not sure what year. they are 18 x 8.5. i didn't check all four of them to see if they are all the same size but i'm not sure what mustang would have had those wheels. are they aftermarket? would they fit a foxbody...

    that makes sense. and by "rotting" do you mean the trim around the windows is rough? if that's what you mean, mine are doing that as well. the black area around each 1/4 window is VERY rough and ugly. guess i could be looking at replacing mine as well :shrug:

    progress looks great!! not having ever done any body/paint work, why does it seem that most of you guys remove the 1/4 windows when you're painting? wouldn't it be easier to maske them off?
