    Electric water temp gauge hookup

perhaps your red and gray wires should be switched? Try taking a wire and running it from ground to your sending unit and see what that does. I'm not too familiar with the wiring on those...I'm sure someone other than myself will chime in soon

    Electric water temp gauge hookup

no sending unit for oil temp. I believe the easiest way to hook that up is to make a "T" coming out the boss for the oil pressure sensor. The pressure sensor is right behind the bracket for the powersteering and a/c. I believe it is about in the middle of the compressor and the pump. Go to...

    Electric water temp gauge hookup

Hey man, for power I just ran mine to the fuse on the radio circuit under the dash. I haven't had any blown fuses are anything and that circuit would be protected. Then again, I have LED backlights which don't draw much energy at all as compared to your normal lamps. I suppose any power wires...

Any ideas for enging miss/cutting out

Intermit. problems can be a bear to diagnose....sometimes all you can do is throw parts at it. before you do that though, try and pull the codes. Even if there's no check engine light the computer may have stored a code. My bet would be on the PIP sensor inside the distributor. after...

    I think I'm about ready...

either this weekend or next weekend I'm gonna go ahead and swap the motor into my white car. Shouldn't take too long at all since now I have a shop I can work in instead of my dad's garage. I've gotta say...that 5.0 I have in the white one now is a trooper. It has 154,000 miles on it at...

YouTube - burnout/1st,2nd gear pull this is mine (old car) with a set of XR-1s on it. I had mac longtubes and a bbk catted H on it. I'd definitely go with the XR-1s....of course I might be a bit biased

    May be a dumb one!!!!!!!!!!!

My money would be on a balancer. Quick way to check: Pop out the number one spark plug, get a long screwdriver and put it in the hole. Now turn the engine over by hand (15/16th socket) until the piston comes to top dead center on the compression stroke. (or as close to it as you can get). The...

    Might lose another finger

oh wow, best of luck to you man. I'm a fellow wrench-turner myself. I've only been doing it as a job for 4 months now but I've seen the other techs that are older and you can tell the trade has taken it's toll on them. Using impacts can mess you up after a while. it pays to take care of...

94-95 crowd is a dying breed...

I personally love these cars. I had a '95 cobra...and once that got totaled I refused to get another mustang unless I found another 94-95. I'm in a Ford club around here and we have 3 94-95's....one being a 95 cobra and one being a 95 cobra hardtop/convertible. I've noticed we generally get a...

    windsor jr heads

I ran the windsor juniors on my 306. Out the box they were a decent head....after I opened them up a bit they were a realllly decent head for what I paid for them. I ended up putting down 428 to the wheels.....of course that was on a blower setup so take that for what it's worth. I did run...

    been away for a while

hey guys, hope everyone's been well. I've been a bit busy with my jobs so I haven't had much time to get on here...not to mention I moved out to a 3 BR 2 bath house with a couple roommates and we don't have internet yet. I still have the white GT and that little engine just won't go. I've...

Some questions about my rear... it seems loose.

hahaha, I'm surprised JT, wes, and the like haven't jumped in on the title yet. Get a big prybar and get up under the rearend and start prying til you find something loose. I'm thinking control arm bushings.
