Lowering GT vert. more than 2"

I used progressive Eibachs from a Fox 'vert, and it gives a smidge more drop w/out much scraping. And I use Tokico 5-ways set on 2 for a great street ride--best of both worlds.

Lets see...have I got this banjo bolt thread thingie figured out?

The '97 Cobra calipers will replace the '03 Mustang GT PBR calipers next week. They both use the fine -thread banjo bolts, Right?????

    Remote door opener lacks range

The chin-aerial does work. Mine's gone from a 12" range to a 10' range. I bet Jay Leno could double that distance.

    Remote door opener lacks range

Well----I can see there are at least 6 Stangers who "use their heads."

    Remote door opener lacks range

For it to work, I have to hold it no more than a foot from the lock. New battery doesn't make any difference. Is there a fix or a replacement?

    95gt brakes to 98 Cobra?

Anyone got the 93 Cobra master parts number so I can "shop around?"

converting rear GT brakes to cobra

95LiterGT is right---there is conflicting advice on this caliper question---some say the 94-98 GT caliper will fit, some say they won't, still others say they fit with some clearencing of the inside of the caliper bracket, some say(as in this thread) some clearencing of the caliper itself will...

converting rear GT brakes to cobra

I think the kit pictured in this thread will reposition the GT caliper high enough so that no grinding or relieving of the GT caliper so as to clear the larger Cobra rotor will be necessary.

converting rear GT brakes to cobra

I thought the Cobra rear calipers were the same as the GTs, the only difference being the mounting brackets and a thinner Cobra-only brake pad.I bought the upgrade kit from BuyFordRacing and it's in transit as we speak. I got this info from a previous post---please let me know--I'm a week away...

    95gt brakes to 98 Cobra?

Not exactly---you'll need fine thread banjo bolts for the Cobra & late model PBR upgrade. Our calipers take the coarse thread.

    cobra brake question

I run the '02 PBRs on the stock rotor, but I'm going to go to the Cobra '13s as soon as I scare up some rotors (or have the 13s turned) some coarse threaded banjo bolts and some braided hoses. Sooooo---once it's done, I'll have some red PBR calipers w/Hawk pads, some fine thread banjo bolts...

Question about camshaft + 94-95 ECU incompatibility

I've had no idle problems whatsoever w/my H/C/I upgrade using a very conservative "Baby Crower" cam & stock "no chip" computer.

    Front Rotor Diameter

Need to know the front brake rotor diameter for the 95 GT, and the front rotor diameter for the 97 Cobra..

    Recovering Steering Wheel

Has anyone tried to recover their steering wheel? Mine has 120,000 miles of use and a previous owner with a ring that gouged it. A new one is very costly, and the Ford racing one is the wrong color. There's a place in California selling leather wraps--the kind that lace on. Not sure if there...

    Cobra vs. PBR calipers

Thanks.I'm convinced. The 97 Cobras w/13' rotors are for me. The Cobra calipers take the coarse banjo bolt, don't they? I had to change to the fine ones for the '03 brakes, and the later braided metal lines--guess I have to buy a new set of those to fit the Cobras on, too.

94 95 GT strut tower bars?????????

I bought the Ford Motorsports one many years ago. Take yours off, put it on--5 minute job. The holes are already there--or they were for me--I have a vert. I thought the welded union was misaligned and poorly done. It's light & clears My GT-40 intake Don't know about supercharger clearance..

    Cobra vs. PBR calipers

Weighing Options---- If I wanted to use the PBR calipers w/a larger (13") rotor, what would I need to fit the calipers to the larger rotor?

    Cobra vs. PBR calipers

So Its larger rotors I need, not Cobra calipers? I just used the stock '95s.
