    I tried reconnecting the battery and it does the same thing, keeps trying to start with out the key in the ignition. When I whacked the solenoid a few times it stopped...then I tried it again and it got stuck again...wtf?

    yeah, i disconnected it, then re connected it following the direction exactly and it does the same thing....any other opinions?

    I was looking at some new gauges and I was wondering what it would take to put the 140mph gt gauges in my lx which only has the 85mph ones. Is it just a matter of changing the speedometer gear?

    Really nice find and welcome to Stangnet! I think lx tails really finish off a GT, I mean I like cheese graters but lxs really look better imo.

    The plural of deer is deer, not deers.:D But yeah, that would solve the problem right there. My cousin had a brand new GT and on her way home nailed one and trashed the front end. These things just need to stop the games they play in traffic....lol

    thanks, ive been lurking around for a couple weeks but i figured id post one i got the car. im almost ashamed to get rid of that little 4cyl....it runs perfect and only has about 90000 on it but i think with a 5.0 ill be a little happierlol
