    if you can find someone with a smoke machine to check for a vacuum leak. you could also try spraying starting fluid around to maybe find a leak.

    on a stock bottom end you dont want any more than 8 psi. i saw a friend had something around 12-14 psi on a stock bottom end and blew a connecting rod through his block. other guys i have talked to at shows say no more than 8 psi on a stock bottom also.

    i dont know if i m doing something wrong or what. i cant get the screw in without hitting metal. in the middle it wont go in and on the inside edge of the seal it catches the crank or whatever that is. im lost now.

    i would read up on that s/c. i was looking onto a kenne belle and after reading some reviews on them i changed. a lot of people were having problems with them. i know they make great power i just wanted to let you know about the problems.

    something you might want to try is a spacer on your intake. i dont know if it will change with the u/d pulleys or not. i live in virginia and even in 90* days my car only runs @ 190 max. thats sitting still. while driving it comes down to 180 or so.

    i had a vacuum leaj at that same area. between the lower intake and head. that was a while ago now. there was definetely some time between the leak and this prob now.

    make sure you check all you connections and ground wire. any corossion or bad connection could give you trouble. also have you changed anything lately. if so could have jiggled a wire loose.

    sounds like a hole in a hose somewhere. ive seen it happen before. if all the hoses are new then double check all the clamps and connections again.
