    Celebrating tonight, most definitely!

Cheers to that. The lady friend picked up the beer with a couple of her friends that are all waiting for me. A celebratory burnout is in order, then I'm off for the night. Be safe all, if you're weather in your areas is anywhere as nice as it is in Pinellas, Florida right now, enjoy the rides...

    Celebrating tonight, most definitely!

Anytime alcohol is involved, my car stays parked till morning. Had way too many close calls to not take an issue like that seriously anymore. It's just NOT worth it.

    Celebrating tonight, most definitely!

Today is an amazing day. Not only am I 9 days away from my Mustang and I's one year anniversary, but today I replaced my starter - which solved a starting issue I've been battling since I FIRST purchased the car almost one year ago. A lot of you may not understand, but that starting issue was...

Damn, that's a nice ass looking Stang!

    short-throw shifter install?

Pretty much cut-and-dry, man... Don't lose that little plastic bushing piece where the shifter meets the tranny, throw some RTV on there after scraping the old gasket/silicone material off, and have at it. :nice:

    more power

Definitely agree with ^. Your torque numbers are nice, however your horsepower is around the same as an h/c/i+fuel and tune 302. AKA - plenty of room to grow! :nice:

what music if you ran from the cops

Something by Slayer. 1,320 by Megadeth - on repeat! I'm a bigtime metalhead, so anything fast, heavy, aggressive, with lots of guitar work would suit my fancy just fine! :D Everytime I go to the track with my car I have thrash going through the stereo - everytime, without fail! :nice:

    'Sticky' clutch pedal...

Popped the hood this morning after getting up - the cable was definitely resting against the driver's side header... The bracket that held the cable back had broken off of the fenderwell area where it was bolted to. :notnice: Rode down to my mechanics, showed him, he grabbed a bolt - from a...

not the fuel filter, or the gas tank or the starter help!

My guess would possibly be something wrong with the tumbler, since the key wouldn't turn all the way?

    'Sticky' clutch pedal...

Gotcha, understood. I know our cars are picky when it comes to the cable routing, which is why I've always left that up to my mechanic. I'll be swinging by his shop my next day off to talk to him and hopefully the problem will show up at that time so he can see exactly what I'm talking about. I...

I think Im losing my mind...

Turbos are great. That's the route I'll be stocking with my 95 eventually. If you can hook and drive well, 12's are absolutely nothing with a turbo setup. If you're fuel and turbo are up to the task, feel free to ramp up the boost for power on demand mostly. Our local turbo 5.0 aficionado...

    'Sticky' clutch pedal...

It literally feels like it's gummed up or something, yet the cable is extremely new. I figured I could rule out the TOB because it does it whether the engine's running or not, so that settles that and kinda makes me think about it being the cable, especially since it only started doing it after...

    JunkYard T5?

I'm pretty positive the Fox guys are able to use 4 cylinder T5's... And, IIRC, there's a slight difference in the overdrive gear used in those models - not sure if it's better or worse though.

    'Sticky' clutch pedal...

Recently, after having an MM clutch cable installed, my clutch has had an odd feeling at times... Usually it's after the car is cooled down, whether it be hours after driving it, or a morning after driving it. The clutch pedal literally feels almost like it's catching on something. It happens...

    Starting question (simple)

I disabled the clutch safety switch in my manual 95 GTS. If you shoot Chythar a message, he'll send you some great pictures of the harness that needs to be jumped. I picked up these awesome little jumper terminals from CarQuest. If need be, I can get you a part number I'm sure. I popped one of...

    mustang gts?

Those v6 seats aren't even really 'bucket' seats IMO. More like a straight up cut apart bench seat. Other giveaways of it being a GTS would be the seating options on the driver's seat. A lot of people say that GTS's ALL have a power driver's seat, but mine does not. The visor mirrors are not...

    mustang gts?

Alleymad95GT, there is no P41 in the VIN. I own a GTS, which is verified by having the original window sticker when I bought the car, and my insurance information also calls it a GTS. The seats are the dead giveaway. Cloth, V6 'grandma material' seats look worlds different than the GT buckets...

Someone tried to break into my 00 GT - Had some questions!

Amen, and there's NOTHING wrong with taking full advantage of your right to bear arms. Honestly, I wish every US citizen that CAN carry, WOULD carry. I'm 19, but as soon as I hit 21 and get my CWP, I'll be carrying a Glock G27 at my side.
