    Motor Mount troubles

    How about taking the passenger side to a welding shop and have them weld up the holes that mount to the frame and redrill them to work? I know that the paddock lists tall and short mounts.

    Most body men won't do an all over paint job for less than 5k. If you want your fiberglass and tail panel fitted as well you can add probably $1500 more..Paint and materials alone for a good all over are going to be over $1000 on the low side

    Thoughts on why this is happening??

    If it is doing it under a load it's probably your plug wires or a bad plug. Do the after dark test with someone in the car holding the break while in gear, put it under a slight load and look for the spark.. If not the wires, I would check the plugs and timing.

    Check to make sure you do not have a vacuum leak. Have you recently had the carb or intake off? Check you vacuum hoses.

    Plugs clean,strong CO odor

    Does your exhaust run out the back of the car or is it cut off at the axle? Won't change your smell, but it will make it easier on you if run out the back.
