    i was going to work on fri morning and the neighborhood behind it had floods at all the intersections i tipped toed through one because i couldnt make a u turn (i should of done a quick drop clutch 180) 5 min later my car was sputtering and died, and would not start for the rest of the day....

    they are themactor plugs, you already have a pair on the "front" of the heads holding the long bolts for the accessory brackets..... and i say "front" because the heads are symmetrical and it doesnt matter which way they go on....

    along with fixing the vents, this also did away wit ha popping problem i was having from the vacuum line being open, ever since i stuck some rubber line on teh broken gap the engine has been real smooth esp in 1st an 2nd gear....

    sorry didnt mean to come across like an ass, forgot the :rolleyes: ... are the tri-bars going to be your permanent rolling gear or is this temp, like if you want switch out the front hardware with sn95 parts to roll the good isht....

    when you cruise at a certain rpm and the exhaust tone resonates and fills the inside of the car with louder sound...

    i got headman 1-5/8 shorties, bbk o/r xpipe and 3" flowmaster 40 deltas with 3" dumps... it makes my car sound real deep.... but i was thinkin of going back to 2.5" or 2.75" tips to raise the sound freq a little....

    oh yea my clutch is on its way out, i wish i had the money to change it when i replaced the tranny, being stuck with only 4th gear was not good for it at all....

    my first car was an 86 lx 2.3l. i really didnt know what i had until i got into mustangs when i got my 87 gt, so i guess its good to have both..... the 86 sadly is sitting on the side of the house in need of a lot of work....

    how about mixing a KC pressure plate, with a centerforce or spec disc....

    Shifter Vibration******

    could be an old/worn balancer, crushed motor mounts, and/or bad tranny mount.... or a rotating part needs to be balanced, the driveshaft comes to mind, also check the ujoints and that its secured on to the rear end.... as for whining, check the fluid before you melt some gears....
