    two questions...exhaust/suspension comparison

The roll bar would be pointless unless you're doing some heavy drag racing and autox racing. It does add structural rigidity, which helps for handling, but you'd be better off just getting the shocks, struts, and springs.

I notified my insurance that i own a GT now rather than a V6...

Right now I pay $240 a month for my V6. For me to own a V8 would cost me about $360 a month. Virginia sucks like that because it's very densely populated.

    tires/rims....pics...i need your help

Stock on a 98 is 16x8, not 17x8. 9s will not rub, a lot of people on here have them. 9s would be in the 245 width range.

    The unthinkable has happened

Just one question comes to mind...why would he put diesel in? Does he know absolutely nothing about reading? I mean, most cars have a label near the gas cap that says 'UNLEADED FUEL ONLY'. Even when I first filled the gas tank up, I knew better than to put diesel in. Not flaming, just...

Time to go to the 17's

http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html Put in your stock tire size, and the tire size of the wheel you are shooting for, and it tells you the difference the speedo will run with the new tires vs old tires. IE: Stock Tire: 225/55/16 New Tire: 275/40/17 Speedo will show 60 when I'm...

    Procharger vs Vortech

Nope. The Vortech is not intercooled. You have to buy it extra. The Procharger is the only one that comes intercooled.

    Best Place to Order Rims/Tires

Well I guess I just had wishful thinking. Diversified has their 2003 Chrome Cobras for $275, while Tirerack has them for $280. I'd rather order them from Tirerack alongside tires and have them mount and balance for me.

    Best Place to Order Rims/Tires

What sites do you guys suggest buying rims/tires from? I'm getting the 2003 Cobra R 17x9s (chrome) riding on 275/40/17, but I want to order from a respectable site that has a reputation behind it. Tirerack is good, but they're prices are very high ($1700 for the rims plus tires). That seems...

    Question on TBody Spacer

I'm preparing my engine though. I'm getting a bigger tbody next month, as in February I am ordering my Procharger. Also, not every mod is about trying squeeze every ounce of power I can get. I've seen cars with spacers get better gas mileage, so if I can get +1mpg out of it, then I consider...

    Where to find some parts

Actually by the looks of it, he probably just sanded the pre-existing pieces down, painted them, then put a gloss coat on.

Which v6 exhaust is better...MAC dual or Kenny Brown ?

I haven't heard the KB one, but I love my Mac duals. It's got a nice low rpm tone, and as it climbs, it gets a little less throaty and more 'high pitched' (though it isn't at all high pitched compared to say a Cougar). I love it though, and that's all there is to that ;)

    Question on TBody Spacer

I just got the Motorvator tbody spacer. Now doing what I should do before I jump to installation, I was inspecting the parts sent with the parts list. It seems there should be 2 linkage plates, and I only received 1. I have every other part except 1 of the linkage plates. To those that...

    how much more HP???...

Overall gain? Maybe 10-15, if you're lucky. Don't waste money on the chip. That won't do much for the minor amount of mods you're doing. My suggestions since you seem to be modding at the rate I'm doing (least expensive route ;)): duals, CAI, tbody spacer, tbody

    DRIFTING SKILLS

You obviously have no driving skills. Especially to drive a mustang. Your car has RWD. Pulling the Ebrake will stop the wheels from spinning completely (which in this case you shouldnt do so you can 'drift' longer). You just need to go into a turn fairly quick, and then jerk the wheel hard...

V6 owners: What is your gas mileage?

I get right under 22. When I had it completely stock I got about 20. The CAI is definitely worth it, if not for the small power gain, but definitely for the MPG increase.

    Supercharging

You might wanna just check their site. You would definitely need bigger injectors and a bigger fuel pump, depending on how much boost you would want to run. I believe with 7psi you need to start upgrading. I know ProCharger has a 5psi kit you can get that you don't really need to upgrade that...

    Great sounding exhaust

I have the Mac duals and I think they sound great. In fact, yesterday a guy thought I had a GT when I rolled up. They sound nice from low RPMs up until like 3000 (which is where my cars shifts normally). If I'm romping on it, it gets a noticeable higher pitch above 3000 (obviously since its a 6)

    Rear Bumper..

No. The black piece is part of the bumper. That bumper is completely different from the V6 bumper. If you'll notice, the cutouts still go up higher than the low part of the bumper.
