87 LX stang sputter 3500 up RPM

You should only have to loosen distributor and rotate it enough to get to get the module off. Be sure to pull it down to free the connections on the top kof the module. Mark where the distributor was positioned and realign and time it after new one is on. It also helps to have it unplugged prior...

    what does a ccrm cost?

I beleive my ccrm is dead and would like to know what others have paid for a replacement. I can unplug the ect sensor and the fan comes on. If I turn on any of the AC settings I get nothing from the fan. If I drive around the car will get warm enough that I dont want to drive it. I also do not...

this is a blower application. I do not like where the mass air is and I think I will relocate the air temp sensor to the fox location. All said and done its O.K. Now I need to get this thing tuned.

    300 hp

Do you want 300 rear wheel hp or at the flywheel hp? Heads, cam and intake plus the supporting mods should get you close if not over 300 at the tire depending on the parts you select.

    UPR BoostMaster Pipe

well I beat the pipe. What a pain in butt that was. I am not that pleased with the cosmetic aspect of it but in the morning I will start it up and see how it acts. I really found myself making a big hole. I guess once I get it all the small details finished up it wont be to bad but it definately...

    UPR BoostMaster Pipe

I honestly would skip this pipe and do the AFM one. Yes its alot more money but I would guess it fits a good deal better and wont make you mad trying to install it. UPR had to have changed this thing because it just does not seem like the one I had in my 93' The bypass valve bung is all wrong...

    UPR BoostMaster Pipe

I will get some shots of it but I am not to happy with the fit and my work either. I had surgery on my hand three weeks ago and probably jumped into this project to soon. UPR BoostMaster Pipe

I am in the middle of a UPR install. It is not a great fitting piece but you get what you pay for. I am finding out the huge hole story is true but I cant see how the AFM piece would be that much different. I dont understand the positioning for the bypass hose fitting. I am sure it will...

think it would be worth it for me to get some twisted wedges?

I think the extra coin for the better springs is worth it. I have the heads with the .600" springs and even though I run the stage 1 cam I know I have enough spring and a little peace of mind to go with it. I really like my heads and recommend them to anybody. Only wish I would have known they...

What all gaskets needed for head swap?

Obviously the head gaskets, intake gaskets including a new upper to lower, might as well do a new thermostat. Are you doing a cam? That would require a timing cover gasket and water pump gasket. You should be able to reuse Valve cover gaskets if they are the stock type.

    Dyno day?

Avatar looks good Wythors, is that the new car? To bad I am missing another dyno day but in a week or two I will have a custom tune done at Horsepower Ranch anyway, so it would have been a waste.

tank gas leak how can i fixed?

If your talking about the filler neck, you can just get a new rubber doghnut for like $15.00 and drop the tank enough to swap out for the old one. Otherwise I am not sure what it is you are refering to.

    what heads to look into

I considered the the GT head combo with my old car, did alot of research on them and its not a bad route to go. I got lucky and the IRS gave me lots of money so Trick Flow's found their way into my budget and had them ever since. The GT 40's with the right work done really shine for what they...

Just put in an order for a certain goody!

    Intresting fact about 5.0's

I hate Honda's too. Mine was landed on by one and totaled. at least yours lives to fight again. The right combination of bolt on parts and that honda will be just a bad memory.

Trickflow Street Heat on a stock motor ?

The part number TFS-51520007 is Summits number for the 3/8" spacer. I needed it but I thought it was because of the raised valve cover mounting surface of the tfs heads and their valve covers but if you need it this is the one.
