    Hate to say it, but sounds like that's just how the springs sit. If it's possible, take it back to the shop and maybe get them to swap the springs out for something like... Ford performance "C" springs. Also it might be possible to swap for the rears for a set of Moogs with a greater installed...

    I broke mine with a standard issue 3/8 ratchet :) They took barely any torque. When I was dealing with them, people told me to go the propane route... didn't get a chance to test it out, but I managed just fine with a combination of drilling, EZ outs, vice grips and plenty of penetrating...

    Yep the 97+ 5.0 explorers. They're great heads that can be had for very cheap! Just gotta watch out for that spark plug angle... makes some headers not work too well. :D

    From what I've heard, I think you'd be ok assuming the engine is tuned and running well. They seem to be especially susceptible to detonation, so that should be your first priority... I've owned a couple turbocharged engines and when modding them, I ran into detonation a few times so be careful...

    Welcome to the site, hope you find all the info you're looking for here! As people have said, H/C/I and a blower will get you 11s quickly. N/A 11s isn't quite as common, so it's cool in that respect. Good luck with whatever way you decide to go!

    Might as well check the heads you've got for any common casting marks, just to be sure. If they're the E7s, you'll love the switch to the Ps :nice: Like people have said, grab the upgrade valve spring kit from TFS, better safe than sorry.

    Visually inspect the gasket and head and maybe consider a shop to get the head magnafluxed or dye tested. Problem could also be on the block side, so be sure to look closely there too. Might as well look carefully over the intake mating surfaces for fun, too. Hope you find the cause!

    Also check under the hood when it's dark, arcing spark plug wires can make a clicky noise.

    Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the TKOs have 6 bolts holding the shifter assembly to the tail of the tranny, where as the T-5s have only 4. Pull up that shifter bezel and check it out.

    225/50 on my fronts and there's a bit of room. I think you'd be ok with the 60 series.
