    What do you mean by funnel looking gasket? There is a metal flange that probably came with it that is supposed to go on the driver's side to ensure a tight seal. Then, there is the paper mac gasket that could only fit on the passenger side. You did the right thing and used the oem metal...

    You may have just experienced the car readjusting with the idle since you just flashed it. Mine will idle a little off for a day or so after I flash it. As said before, though, the timing adjustment is only at WOT. Esp since you have cams you may notice more.

    I think 2000 up is 3/8". My '99 is 1/2" and pretty sure buddy's 00 was 3/8".

    Your belt probably routes like this: http://www.bullittarchive.com/1015.htm. You don't need to take anything off, just make sure you have it routed correctly. Just use a socket wrench in the 3/8" drive hole on the tensioner to move it. It should move rather easily.

    What are the tell-tale symptons of a worn clutch?

    Just had mine replaced at 105k and it was still quite usable. Buddy had a stock 96 that he drove pretty normal at it lasted 130k until his throw out bearing took a dump. I think they will go pretty far with near stock hp...just be prepared for the ford TOB to squeak no matter what you do...

    Getting a new headunit with my mach 460 system HELP

    I had Go-Ho put in a new head unit. The had to use a special harness, but it is common for the mach460. Only the pre-amp in your head unit will be used. Your mach amps will work as before.

    It won't cause damage to your motor. Without cats you will definately smell unburned fuel. Even with high flow cats, you will probably smell some since they flow better than the stock cats. IE they don't build up as much heat and burn up the fuel before it gets out.

    T-45 takes a little over 3 qts for the tranny, so buy 4. You can fill through the shifter(if you want to take it off and re-seal) or through the fill hole. 8.8 takes a little under 2 quarts with the stock girdle. Just use Royal Purple 75w140 since it already has the friction modifier in it...

    I'd guess that is normal, but I'm no transmission expert. I used to notice heat from my manual from the ebrake...don't really notice after 7 years.

    I used high temp red. Makes sense to me, but you can use others, too. Black would work.

    I just installed the Maximum Motorsports firewall adj, quad and their slightly modified OEM cable. I really like it and can adjust it just like I want from the firewall. Just in case you want to get an adjuster.

    loss of power with more throttle

    This is a debatable issue, but I know people that have done it on new plugs with no problems. You could argue that its going to clean the plugs anyway. I'd bet you'd be fine either way. Run half in the intake and the other half in your gas. If you are worried just wait until next time.

    From what I understand the Maximum Motorsports Quadrant, Firewall Adjuster and their modified OEM cable is the deal. I have one on the way. They take the ford OEM cable and modify it slightly to work with their adjuster so you don't have to jerry rig anything. That is why I got it...only time...

    car feels less responsive from a RAI?

    It will relearn quickly on its own. I didn't notice any loss when I put mine on. I just had full exhaust at that time. Give it a little time to learn before you dump it.
