Had my local ford dealer install my new KC clutch with new stock flywheel, etc. I had my original stock clutch on there with 105k. Man what a difference...it grabs like crazy now and pedal effort is nice and smooth. No more squeaking at the moment either. Anyways...I was impressed as they seem to have put everything back correctly and charged me $314 total for the labor.

Should I let it break in any before I start getting on the new clutch?

Sounds like exactly what I need to do.

Mine doesnt grab hard, the TOB is chattering at times, and the clutch pedal can get a little bit squeeky, and sometimes pedal effort is inconsistent.

There is a break in period for a new clutch, but I dont remember off the top of my head. I think its on average a couple hundred miles, 500 comes to mind for some reason.
