The UPS man is my hero!

Are headers by Kooks ceramic coated or just stainless steel? I've heard you can install these headers without even dropping the kmember, but have also heard its easier to just drop it. gl

    Using touch-up paint..

You could just sand, prime with brush, and touch up for now and see how it turns out. Its not likes its in a really obvious spot where people will be able to see right away that its been fixed with touch up. You could probably get it close to invisible even looking right at the touched up area...

    What springs to use???????

http://www.2kgt.com/item.php?itemid=74 Look at the spring rates. The lower spring rate will be less stiff over bumps and more butt friendly.

    Anyone know this car?

Maybe he didn't appreciate you taking pictures of his *** and rear license plate so you could post it on the internet.:stick: No one likes a poparazzi. By the way...it wasn't me.

    Ford Exhaust Manifold Gaskets

Thanks for the info and advice.:nice: I went ahead and ordered Persy's Seal-4-Good header gaskets last night. Hopefully I'll be able to get a good seal the first time. Also the connection for my slp lts and x are a slip fit.

    Ford Exhaust Manifold Gaskets

I was wondering if anyone knew about how much new ford exhaust gaskets cost? Also do they come as a set of 4 or 2? Is there an inner and an outer gasket for each side?

New Badges + Pics + Help removing adhesive!

3000grit is as abrasive a bath towel:p It feels like a piece of paper. Body shops wet sand all the time to smooth out orange peel in clear coats.

Hmm, then I dont know if that can be fixed or not without a body shop working on it. They could probably wetsand and blend the clearcoat. From the pictures the clear doesnt look like you could flake it off unlike the car I seen. It looks like they did a good job of painting around the emblem...

    5) Once there's no glue left, give the area a nice wipedown of some carwash on a rag, then dry. Take a step back and look for shadows, or any evidence that the badge was there. 6) Any shadows or discoloration can be worked out with ScratchX and Polish. Work the scratchX all over the area...

Hmm..can you feel it in the paint? I'm guessing since you tried scratch x, you have experience with the stuff. Remember you have to rub really hard with scratch x if you want it to do anything. Once your fingers hurt and if it doesn't do anything then I would give up on scratch x.

Scratch X from meguiars and rub it in until the marks are gone or any other type of cleaner polish. Dont use a rubbing compound or a machine. Just use light polish by hand.

    shifter console

Ya, they're just ornamental. Pretty detailed though because you're one of many that I have read thought they were real. I got one for my GT from CDC so I knew what the bottom looked like with its clips. Good luck. Hopefully ford didnt glue the ones from factory in.

Spintech side exit exhaust system?? ANyone have it?

Wow, I just wanted to hear his exhaust. But since he isn't going to read this.....Imo his tips are big and look odd.:p "I've seen worse, whatever floats his boat."

Spintech side exit exhaust system?? ANyone have it?

And your not being disrespectful? I'm just interested in hearing what yours sounds like and if sounds similar to most kits. Im also just sick of you telling everyone that inlet/outlet side exhaust kits make you cry because they don't flow. My kit makes the same as most catbacks. Sure its not...

    shifter console

Take the shift knob off and then gently pull on the sides of the plastic around the shifter to pop the tabs out. If you're talking about taking out the silver ring around the shifter boot, it also just pops out.

Spintech side exit exhaust system?? ANyone have it?

Post sound clips or stfu:p and quit bashing our inlet/outlet style mufflers...they probably flow just as good as yours.

    yep, shes home..PICS..

Try lowering your hood bumpers and see if the hood comes down any. The hood does look a little higher than the end of the fender. You could also try moving the hood on your hood hinges to bring it forward:shrug: if even possible
