    Projector Headlamp Adustment

So I purchased these cool looking Halo projection headlamps and installed them a couple of weeks ago. They had what looks like an adjustment mechanism on the back of each headlamp assembly but it doesn't seem to make any difference in the height of beam no matter which way you turn the...

    03 GT Rear-End Saga

Good Replies Thanks for the replies. All experts thinks the pinion gear depth wasn't set right. In any case, you are all right, the shop should stand behind their work. Problem is they are also friends (some friends right?) I will give them a chance to do the right thing (pay an expert to fix...

    03 GT Rear-End Saga

Here's my story/ I have an 03 Centennial GT Convert with 59K miles. I just got the car out of the shop after upgrading to 3:73 Ford Motorsport gears. This took two months of trial and error by the mechanic. First attempt, just gears replaced. Massive howling and gnashing resulted. Second...

    Rear End Woes

Rear End Woes Cont'd I'm located in N. Alabama. Genuine Ford Parts out of Sherman Texas wanted $571 for a bare housing plus $170 to ship. The used housing is complete our of a 99 GT. I already have all new parts to go in it. I did find out that the ring & pinion the mechanic purchased for me...

    What Color Wire?

It's the Grey One Disregard, just found a site that details the wiring hookup. It's the large grey wire coming out of the headlight switch.

    Rear End Woes

After investing over $1000 in labor and new parts (ring & pinion, all bearings, axles, clutch discs in differential) on a rear-end rebuild it whines like howling dog. It was in the shop for over a month because the mechanic (trusted & qualified) had to tear it down several times to try to quiet...

    What Color Wire?

I am installing a white face gauge kit on my 03 GT that has nite-glow feature. It is already wired and attaches to a module and control panel that came with it. It requires that I attach the red wire from the module to the hot wire coming out of the light switch that controls the parking lights...

    Stripe Removal

Hey Y'all, greetings from Alabama! I purchased a used 03 Centennial Edition Convertible that someone had added some aftermarket "C" stripes to. The look is kind of growing on me because I had just sold my 68 convertible that had factory option "C" stripes. I am contemplating removing the...

    Cold air intake for Cobra

I opted for the polished aluminum K&N system. Looks nice, sounds nice, and know nothing about any "heat soak" issues that affect performance, only that aluminum conducts heat four times faster than cast iron. How that equates to performance is beyond me.

    Need a new battery

Ironically, maybe not so much, but my 03 Black Centennial with a Mach 1000 Stereo System is asking for a new battery also. I appreciated all the comments about the Optima's and will probably elect for the red top to replace the now 4 years old Motorcraft.

    Rear Gear Break In Period?

My 03 Centennial GT is currently in the shop for rear gear swap to 3:73 gears. Is there a recommended break in period? The mechanic mentioned there is a slight humming noise upon accelleration but that it should subside over time when the "break-in period" is over. Comments welcomed! Brody...
