This Clutch Cable With Stock Quadrant?

The new cable is already installed so what you're saying is I would still have to get under the car and remove the cable from the clutch fork to do this? Sorry I'm not sure where it's connected to the bell housing... thought it was just routed to the dust cover and then connected to the fork.

This Clutch Cable With Stock Quadrant?

Ok, so would it be fairly easy to replace the quadrant or do I need to disconnect the cable from the clutch fork first? First time I'm doing this so I have no idea.

This Clutch Cable With Stock Quadrant?

I always thought it adjusted as you drove it if the cable started to stretch. Is that not the case?

This Clutch Cable With Stock Quadrant?

I was hoping to keep the stock quadrant since it's self-adjusting, that's why I decided against replacing it.

This Clutch Cable With Stock Quadrant?

Anyone ever use this cable with a stock quadrant? Seems like there's too much slack in it and I'm wondering if I need to install the adjuster AND quadrant, or just the adjuster... I'm hoping just the adjuster :/...

    Best "stock" Clutch?

I have a 91 GT and it's completely stock. I'm likely going to be putting in a new clutch very soon and I want to know what the best option for a "stock" clutch would be since Ford no longer makes the stock clutch. Again, don't want any performance oriented, on/off, stiff-pedal, macho clutch...

Hard To Pull Out Of Gear In Morning

Ok this is still occurring and I've now tested it in other gears besides 1st and it still happens. Once the shifter is basically "yanked" out of the gear everything works perfectly. I can only imagine it must have something to do with the clutch since I seriously doubt multiple gears in the...

Hard To Pull Out Of Gear In Morning

It has the stock transmission. The car is completely stock, and would have had a stock clutch if they still made them. I don't know what type of fluid was used, they changed it when they changed the clutch. But the odd thing is as soon as I pull it out of gear it's fine. In other words, it...

Hard To Pull Out Of Gear In Morning

Thanks guys I'll try the clutch adjustment. It's a stock shifter yes and it seems to go away after driving it and not come back until the next morning.

Hard To Pull Out Of Gear In Morning

I have 1991 Mustang GT and occasionally the car is difficult to pull out of first gear after sitting over night. (I leave the car in 1st when parked) Last year I had a McLeod Clutch installed, so I'm not sure if the clutch is failing or some other issue is occurring. I kind of hate the McLeod...
