    Shelby Twist Hood Pins?

Those are cool but from the looks of it, I bet I can't mount them where my existing Shelby ones are. Would mean having to get a new hood or expensive filling of holes. Hmmm....new hood......HMMM...

    Shelby Twist Hood Pins?

67-70. They have to be modded for ours. I REALLY REALLY REALLY wish someone would make these for our cars.

Do I really need a bumpsteer kit?

Another safer example of bumpsteer is just driving in a straight line down a crappy road at a safe speed...the potholes and lumps (are better for this example) will cause the car to "pull away" from you and change direction even though the steering wheel doesn't move or shift at all. When I...

Big Brake Kit (that fits 17" factory Bullitt's)?

You want a BBK just for looks? Stick with your original plan. Paint the calipers, get some drilled or slotted rotors. Caliper paint costs next to nothing and you can get a set of 4 Powerslot rotors $300 to $400, maybe less. Otherwise, yes, you're looking at $1200 to $1500 for just a front...

    Proceedure for reseting the computer?

Hmm, I guess they are all sourcing the key parts from the saem vendor. Yeah, I am going to let the car sit for hours today off batt and see what happens. If still busted, back it goes.

    Proceedure for reseting the computer?

I reseated all the bulbs and got all but one to come back on. I then swapped it to verify it did work, and it does. I put another known working bulb in the suspect spot and it's not working. So I guess I have a bad harness from Stock Racing...BOO!

    Proceedure for reseting the computer?

I don't mean a reflash for tuning but a simple battery disconnect style reset for the electrics. Is there anything more to do other than disconnecting the negative terminal and letting it sit for a minute? The car did take a second or two longer to start after doing that. So was it reset...

Umm, I'm new, and I'm an alcoholic...

Everyone in my family was in the militay except me. I'm representing the lazy fat segment of America! (the true Americans, heh) Reaping the benefits of what our soldiers do everyday risking their lives to defend. And I am thankful for it, every day. :flag: But...sure...I'd love to meet up...

Umm, I'm new, and I'm an alcoholic...

Congrats! I tour the local race tracks here in southern california in the spring and fall. I've had more fun in the Stang than my 350z. I also find our cars a lot more fun than the EVOs. (which I've also tossed around the track) Rear drive, big HP, weight, solid rear axle all make for...

    Leather Fading

Leather with multiple UV protecterants are a MUST for convetibles. Not just conditioners. And you have to do it EVERY WEEK. It's the only way to maintain.

    Ford's 400HP 5.0 (Coyote) V8 spied !

How about setting the motor further back and lower to help weight bias? In addition to all aluminum of course. Oh and a multi-link IRS and updated unequal length control arm front suspension? One can dream....

Any word on an all alum GT500 motor?

Just wondering there's any gossip on the GT500 getting an all aluminum motor and thus taking some frontal poundage off.

    Suspension Lift?

So with the pot holes, as deep as you say they are, your car is bottoming out? Your front bumper is slamming in to the pavement? Really??? You could try putting some 19" wheels with 50 series rubber. that would give you an almost 1.5" lift. Buy a truck or SUV if it's truly that bad though.

    *Exhaust Video* Pypes MMS/Pypes O/R H

The Stang sounds amazing. Both cars sound good but I prefer the Stang, listened to it 5 times now...heh. Dammit...making me want to change my exhaust...

    Wheel Hop??

The TCS seems to CAUSE massive wheel hop in what ever it is doing. When ever I'm driving I am often reminded quite quickly that I forgot to turn it off when I hit a turn or take off from a light and the car shudders and farts like mad instead of just giving me a nice subtle 'chirp' or all out...

    It's Official: 2010 Shelby GT500

Okay THIS I am liking. Especially in the silver color in the convertible shots. No shots of it's a$$ so I am assuming that's still a design nightmare. But as for the lines in this new car..WOW...loving it!

    Keeping the plastic looking new

303 spray is awesome, only thing I use on my plastics. But for trim restoration and to bring back a glow and shine, that Poor Boy's is hands down the best and it last a really long time, even through washes.

    Oil Change after storage

Going out and starting the car every day and letting it run for 5min is one way to avoid most the issues with long term storage, mechanically that is. Also, if you can't get the car up on jack stands, over inflate the tires 5-6psi to prevent flat spotting. Fill the tank with gas of course...

    Keeping the plastic looking new

It's what most people use at the shows and it's cheap. I use it and it works. Makes dull plastic shine again and it lasts about 6 to 9 months. Keeps shine ever after washes and weather. Use it sparingly, it goes on like an oil and is dry to touch when done. Poorboy's World Trim Restorer -...
