    Potential business? Seats?

I can't find rebuilt factory FOX seats anywhere. On Ebay I've seen there's a guy rebuilding the power seat tracks, but no one is selling FOX seats. Why? There are a lot of years those seats could fill. I'm a customer looking and no one is offering. This is baffling.

    I love those little moments...

I swapped all my switches and everything started working; windows and locks. Well, all but my drivers rear window. Off to bed I went knowing I'd had to rip that apart to swap the motor. Up the next day and off to work, drop the top, drop the windows.....HELLO...the drivers rear happily obeys...

Electrical swapped clusters, fuel gauge sporadic.

sweet chart! thanks. The first thing I will try is to swap the old slosh module in. simplest first. only the fuel gauge is having issues. if that doesnt do it, I'll hit the procedures. thanks again.

Electrical swapped clusters, fuel gauge sporadic.

Is it possible the anti slosh module in the replacement cluster is wacky? I knew I should've swapped mine in to it before putting it all back together. Grrrr. I can't think of any other reason. Unless it's from jacking the front end way up to replace the starter some how messed with the float...

Oh? Well that sounds MUCH better. I was freaking out.

Brakes Is it really $700 to convert the rears to disc???

Was looking online for kits for my 1993 and they are all $700+. That DOESN'T include a larger master cyn which I assume is needed to run discs at all four corners???

Engine Motors cuts out around 3.5-4k as she warms up.

Ah cool, I'm sure my buddy has a used one I can swap out to see if that's it. Then get a new one. Thanks!

What is it about the '94 front seats that won't work with '93?

Did some more research. Looks like they will drop right in BUT be prepared to sit an inch higher. That's not really an option for me, then. Oh well. Guess I'll buy a repair kit, new foam, and fix the bent/broken upper back.

What is it about the '94 front seats that won't work with '93?

Are we talking frame rails to the floor or plugs? Plugs I can cut and splice. Seat rails can be adapted. Just wanted a heads-up if any one knew what to expect. Thanks.

Engine Motors cuts out around 3.5-4k as she warms up.

Yeah cats are still on there. Not sure of their condition. I replaced the ignition switch as it was falling apart. Did wires recently. Guess it's time for a full tune-up.

Engine Motors cuts out around 3.5-4k as she warms up.

So I have this issue where the motor cuts-out much like a rev limiter kicking in around 3.5 to 4k. It's closer to 3k as she warms up. I've verified the TACH is correct. Ideas?

Electrical Unused Fused causing intermittent drain?

This has always been a great site, with good people. At least in the FOX sections, heh. ;)

Electrical Unused Fused causing intermittent drain?

everything with regard to battery drain is......FIXED! thanks all for the massive help! it all came down to tracing lines and finally was left with the actual plugs going in to the alt. they were tightly wrapped in electrical tape. I unwrapped that mess and OMG..the black white stripe line from...

Electrical Unused Fused causing intermittent drain?

stock style, but new. pro start installed just yesterday. what this proves is the old motor raft alternator was most likely okay. since the draw situation did not change. that blue line is missing a ground or shirting out someplace along the line. need a weekend and some daylight.

Electrical Unused Fused causing intermittent drain?

as far as the random fail to start that is most likely the starter or the starters relay down below. it's all been reduced to that. (see previous post)

Electrical Unused Fused causing intermittent drain?

I replaced my ignition switch and key switch today. the draw is that blue alternator line. that is certain now. the issue now, how to resolve it.

Electrical Unused Fused causing intermittent drain?

I'm cursed. so with the car off but the battery still connected, I reconnected that blue alternator line to the relay....TINY spark. now my cluster warning lights and gauges don't work, only illumination works. fml.

Electrical Unused Fused causing intermittent drain?

Alright found my draw...check it out... Traced it as a fusible link. It's hacked in to a two wire line that runs down to the frame under the battery. This is a 4amp draw. With it out and all other fuses "in" I have ZERO draw. Now what link is it? Can I run the car with out it? Heh.

Electrical Unused Fused causing intermittent drain?

And yeah after that test, the next will be to disconnect the power lead going down to the starter and see if it still drains. However until I do the amperage tests, none this could matter. Since multiple systems could be causing the drain. I really wish I had what I needed to get the fuse...

Electrical Unused Fused causing intermittent drain?

Yeah Im going to put my meter on the dead side of the relay, and ground the meter to the car, then jump the hot side with the post in the middle (this will start the car) and see if I get a clean 12v to the other post. If I do, then the clunk is most likely the relay down below on the starter...
