heads were milled= now wont seal lower intake up..

I've seen several lower intakes installed without gaskets and there were no leaks, if you know what you are doing with the RTV. Never heard of anyone milling the lower intake after the heads were milled, but that's not to say it doesn't happen. Make sure you use enough (not sure you can ever...

    Bad piston wrist pin

Right now I can't because I am still in Germany, but I will be with the car at the end of the month. I'm just trying to prepare for what it is for $$$ and time. I am very curious to see what it is though. Tim

    Bad piston wrist pin

Would it be noticably different if I pulled a plug wire on the suspected cylinder? Tim

    gaskets

You're gonna want to put gaskets in between the manifold and the heads, yes. Some people use them, so don't. I have always used them, just easier I guess. Tim

    Bad piston wrist pin

A couple of months back my Mustang started to occasionally sound as if it was detonation on one of the cylinders. It's been in stroage for the past 3 years and my Dad starts it up a few times a month, but he said the tick has gotten a little bit louder. We are going to pull the motor when I...

    Let's see some Fox restorations.

Not really a restoration, but I did do loads of work to it if that counts for anything. More like a transformation instead. Tim

    ALMOSSTOCK's polishing website

Thanks Paul! It wasn't a big deal, I have just been procrastinating on it forever now. I know if it were you, you would have done the same for me and I am pretty sure I owe you for something. I was supposed to start working on my families motorsports site about 4 months ago, but just haven't...

    ALMOSSTOCK's polishing website

His site will be back up when I get some time to redo and stick it back on my server. I changed servers about 6 months ago and I haven't had a chance to switch it over. Hopefully in the next couple of months I get it back online. Tim

    Single stage vs basecoat/clearcoat

Even if that was true, you would want the exterior of the car to match itself. How often are you going to see the door jambs, etc...? Probably not enough and you won't be able to tell the difference. 32 is spot on, he knows his stuff. Tim

    Ankle Carnage!

I'm only posting this to get a "What should I expect?" response if the ligaments are torn or seperated from the bone. The X-Rays didn't show any breaks, but there is too much swelling right now to do an MRI. I rolled it slowing down after running, nothing crazy, but the pop I heard was pretty...
