    Anyone Install A Hitch On Their Mustang?

    i don't know what you guys are going on about a trailer being gay or stupid.....i have a custom made hitch that the whole assembly comes off and tow a small trailer with my race tires on the back......these tires are non DOT approved and expensive as hell, and will not waste them driving on them...

    installing the kit next week, buddy has a real nice garage with a car lift so that will be easier.....any do's and don'ts i should be aware of, or if you have any suggestions on things you found to be easier...... ?? thanks....

    need help with something stupidly small and easy ?

    anyone know how to get the stock shift knob off ? i tried "unscrewing" it but it just keeps turning and not getting looser ? is there a bolt/nut/retaining clip/anything holding it on that i'm doing wrong ??? thanks

    no my wheels are not deep dish, simply 18x9 witha 36mm offset, and absolutely no problems

    i think you only need the spacers if you go deep dish in the front (18x10) which is semi understandable.......i have an '05gt with 18x9 all the way arround and a 265 tire and clearance is perfect with a small amount of space to spare

    some dealerhships seem to be different about this kinda stuff..... a friend I know bought the roush supercharging kit from a local ford and roush dealer and they said as long as they install it, it would be under warranty (providing the boost #'s weren't messed with)

    you mean the rear bumper area ? if so, ya the only complaint i have on the new stang is the rear end, never quite got all of my complete liking... so ya, it does look abit big, but she is currently on a diet and plan to improve !!!! lol

    you need spacers that are provided i think from mustang tuning for the "deep dish" wheels even the 18x9 deep dish and especially the 18x10 (for the front wheels only) on both sizes.... i have the 18x9 all around and they fit perfectly with a 265 tire check out my website for more pics...

    i put mustangtuning.com's black bullitt's on my gt 18x9 with 265/40 Dunlop SP sport 9000 and haven't even noticed a single "extra" bump in the road.... maybe your alignment is off for some odd reason, or the balancing isn't right like they said it was....
