    thanks guys. I do have global west upper arms. however when I do jack up the car my springs basically are loose at full sag. So I think I will reverse them for that reason. I will call global west first to make sure its ok.

    the price of the oil is not an issue. I want the best protection against wear, heat, sludge build up, and start up protection . And I keep reading synthetic is the way to go. Just dont want to switch too soon. Also the synthetic Rotella has much more zinc (4x?) than the regular Rotella .

    First time starting up!!

    removing the distributer and using a priming tool with a hand drill is the only way I know to prime an engine. If you go to start a fresh engine without priming the system, there will be no oil for a few seconds where its needed, and you can hurt vital components.

    I believe they move more freely compared to rubber or poly bushed stock ones. up and down movement is what you want, not front to back movement. I installed them on a 68 and love 'em.

    Is the zinc thing true? on both Crower's and Comp Cams sites they say no synthetic with a flat tappet. I'd love to run a synthetic, but not if there's any chance of hurting anything.
