Who here switched to synthetic under 100k

Alot of this is dependent on what type of base oil is used in the brand of synthetic oil you have selected. All synthetics use a type III or type IV base oil. Type III is petroleum formulated based and a type IV is chemically formulated based and always contains POAs. Some synthetic oil...

    Steeda LCA's

I have a P1SC Charger on my car and when I hit the gas hard, I can feel the rearend windup from the control arms flexing. Not good. I selected the MM CA-5 lower arms with the heim joint at the axle and the urethane 3 piece bushing at the chassis. I could get the fully heim jointed setup, but I...

Any bumpsteer for an 1 1/2" drop ???

No you have to adjust the bumpsteer. That's why they give you an assortment of shims with the kit. I eyeballed mine and tried to follow the axis line of the lower control arm to get it close. You can then use the board and/or the gauge to check movement of the toe by jacking each side's...

Weight savings for the hardcore racer. I just don't like it that they paint their aluminum ones.

Any bumpsteer for an 1 1/2" drop ???

This is good solid and accurate information. Rack bushings do no more than help at best. There is no measurement, there is no calculation for how low your car is. And only the super low cars (2 inches+) may benefit from offset rack bushings in conjunction with a bumpsteer kit. And even then, I...

    4.6 Procharger

I'm running a P1SC with a 3.70 pulley (9 psi) with a 3 row cooler. Dyno said 8.6 psi @5600 RPMs. 378 rwhp. You will have to remove the UDPs and the CAI. Make sure you get a good quality tune. That is the key to motor longevity.

    Can I go race?

This is the exact reason that Centerforce recommends a clutch break-in. Most self proclaimed experts really don't have a clue, so they treat everyone like a novice. This protects against customer complaints and helps insure their product's reputation. I joined this site, not to spout off my...

    Can I go race?

Well now, that explains it. There's no need to come off so forceful. You directly quoted me as giving incorrect information. I didn't do that. I only stated my opinion. Relax and obsorb all the info you can. Opinions are fine, but be careful of who you confront. You never know who is hiding...

    Can I go race?

So why don't you tell us all as to why this is the wrong answer? And I will assume that you're armed with knowledge of compounds, compositions and coefficients relating to clutch disc makeups. A quick call to Centerforce will tell you why this break in is recommended. The same coefficient...

    Can I go race?

I've never heard of that before. We raced our cars with new clutches in them all the time with no issues. I'd race it!

    TR-3650 PROGRESS!!!

There is also a TSB regarding a clutch engagement problem. It causes hard shifting, especially when cold. The end result if the adjustments don't remedy the problem, is to replace the clutch assemby. I certainly would have had the dealer replace the clutch while they had the trans out...

    Need Procharger High Idle Help

Update: I returned to my Dyno tuner for the third time on Friday. After calling ATI, I really was not satisfied with the responses. My tuner in the meantime called Diablo. After they reviewed the tune, Diablo believes the problem is in the throttle body. Since I have a 2 stage chip, they...

    procharger questions

I just installed a P1SC with a 3 row intercooler. If you are going to run the stock injectors, you might be able to get away with the stock fuel pump. The down side is it will cost you horsepower. I don't know about you, but if I'm going to spend that kind of money on a Procharger, I certainly...

    Need Procharger High Idle Help

Hello-I'm new to your forum and I was referred here by a couple of friends who stated that there are some pretty sharp members here. I have a 2004 GT, 5 speed with 15,000 miles on the clock. Last weekend I completed a Procharger P1SC with a 3 row intercooler install and took it to the Dyno/Tuner...
