    I use to have a 95 v6 stang.I swapped out the rear 2.73's for 3.73's & manually shifted the AOD for a year or so.trans had an electronic shift kit which made the shifts much firmer. manual shifting was the only way to go for me...the 3.73's & manual shifting made it so much for fun to...

    I have never dynoed it but the previous owner had it tuned when the shop built the motor & it put down measly 310rwhp/383rwtq. very low ##'s IMO but the reason being is the crappy heads he put on it. he ported/ put bigger valves in the stock E7's:nonono:...... I plan on getting some real heads...

    +1 on cleaning the MAF. always a good place to start as a dirty MAF can cause all sorts of problems.

    sounds like you have a bad or improperly installed starter. what does the shop say? when you try to start it, does the noise slowly wind down after you let off the key? like a whiney noise? just trying to figure on it a little. if you were anywhere near me I would come over & take a look...

    why is the starter *new*.... was it doing this before you replaced the starter? has it ever worked right since the new starter was installed? sounds like it isn't touching the teeth on the flywheel.......maybe they gave you the wrong starter:shrug: either that or the starter is bad & isn't...
