    HELP! Wheel Catastrophe!!

They are being very cool about the situation and they are taking care of it for me. I admit, their customer service is excellent. I wish it wouldn't have happened, but at the end of the day, no harm no foul!

    HELP! Wheel Catastrophe!!

I for sure am still worried. I'm dealing with my local Discount Tire Store though. I didn't order them online. In fact I did not order them at all. I simply told them I had a 07 Mustang GT and I wanted 18 Inch Shelby Torq Thrust M's in 18x9 and 18x10. The discussion never came up regarding...

Still Shopping for the Right Wheel, Opinions Valued

I did find a Nitto Tire that runs 285/40/20 but that results in a 28.9 diameter. I'm thinking that is too much. I could also run a Toyo Proxes 4 275/40/20 whic is 28.6. That might be okay. I want a wide stance in the back, so I don't want to go less than a 275. I really don't want to...

Still Shopping for the Right Wheel, Opinions Valued

Regarding the Torq Thrusts, what are most people's opinions regarding wheel size. 18's or 20's? My Biggest concern is if I go with a 20 inch wheel, I'm going to have to drop it at least an inch in the rear and inch in the front. I have a bit of incline and decline in the driveway and I'm...

315/35/20 Tires - Any problems with suspension?

Here is the tire I'm considering on someone's car. Found them on Ebay. The seller used these shots to show how it would look. Still would rather rely on the real life experiences from folks from this board though!

315/35/20 Tires - Any problems with suspension?

Happy Monday Morning StangNet. I have a question regarding a tire combo I'm seriously looking at and worried about the suspension travel and fitment with a 315/35/20 Rear tire. The stock Diameter is 27.25 and the new 28.68 inches. That is a increase of 1.43 inches in the overall rear...

Cool, thanks. I don't mind the stock polished wheels, I just prefer the deeper lip. Especially on the rear wheels. Plus, you can't go much past a 245 series tire on a 8" rim. PM me if interested in the polished bullitts and tires.

I'm starting to agree that the Torq Thrust is the better looking wheel. Especially with my appearance mods to date. Anyone else, opinions?

    Stock Clutch Durability

Good question. I am curious too. Seems like we have several members with Forced Induction. I wonder if they swapped out their clutch assembly when going with the supercharger?

    Pypes Mid-Muffler System part Deux

Steeda: Because, the 45 is not the only measurment of a tire that makes the total Diameter. The sidewall might be shorter, but the overall diameter is increased. Here is a link for you so you can see the overall diameter of a tire. http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp

    Wheel Pic's

I found a set of 19's I am saving for. They are 24 and 25 pounds (fronts/rears). I don't believe they are any heavier if not lighter than my stock 18" polished bullitts. You can find 19's lighter, but they are pricey.
