    68 A/C question, please help...

Can't help much, just a basic electrical direction... trace that some colored wire from the firewall all the way to the controls... if you still see no current, perhaps the controls are bad... also test the 12v feed to the controls... My question, I see "5.0" in your name so I'm assuming you...

Looking for 67/68 Hood Turn Signal Pictures

Hey Bullitt... You got some pics of your car? The gallery link on your page doesn't work... I'm working on a 68 coupe and was thinking of possibly using a 429 scoop... I'd love to see a few angles of it...

    Hydroboost feasable on our cars?

Hey 1TallMF, any updates? I want to do this in a 68 (with r&p) and I like the idea that it's only 3 hoses!

Should my 5.0 hold vac after it's been shut-off?

No, I'm pulling from the blank spot on the tree... thanks guys...

Should my 5.0 hold vac after it's been shut-off?

Just re-did a bunch of old, plastic vac lines and picked up a vac gauge to check what I had (16-17 at idle - about 750-800 rpm i believe) and I was just wondering if the engine should hold vac after it's shut down... When I shut my car off, I immediately hear all the vac escape is a loud whoosh...

2000 seats in a 1970, will they fit?

hmm, ok... maybe I'll stick with a manual seat... the car I'm working on is amazing clean and straight (68 j-code coupe) and I don't want to hack up the floor... any other possible options for power seats?

    KOER... no flashing

Thanks Jrichker, but I was actually thinking more from the "finishing the wiring on my 2.3T to 5.0 swap" once and for all and not so much just to run KOER. The only thing I haven't gotten finished up is that circuit. And I want to finish up my wiring so I lose code 67 properly and I can say...

2000 seats in a 1970, will they fit?

Thanks! Looks like it's gonna be a sweet ride... and yeah, I'd love to see some more pics! Do you have any idea how much taller the power seats would have been over stock buckets had you not chopped the floor?

Can someone tell me/measure clutch fork travel?

Also, is the stock pivot ball adjustable like all the replacements I'm finding on the net? If not, is there any place to buy this stock style pivot ball that doesn't need to be adjusted? And if no to that one, how is the pivot ball properly adjusted without having to reinstall and pull the...

2000 seats in a 1970, will they fit?

Anyone got pics? I'm looking for seats for a 68 coupe. I kind of want power seats (i always feel low with regular seats - in most cars - and I like to have a lot of adjust-ability in all directions not to mention lumbar). I know I'll probably need to mod the floor pan to get them in at the...

    KOER... no flashing

I'm not using a reader, I'm using a jumper and the check engine light... And one more try, anyone have insight on where to pick up Clutch switch AND neutral switch in one shot for pin 30? That seems to be what my limited wiring diagrams tell me I am missing...

Can someone tell me/measure clutch fork travel?

Unfortunately I was rushing to get my car back together for the work day in the a.m. and failed to check the ball when putting everything back in... although the fork seemed to lock on pretty tight... I'm for sure thinking it's probably a bad fork or pivot ball (seems like the fork is pulling...

    KOER... no flashing

Yeah, actually I thought of that after posting (and I actually figured I'd have a reply from you, saying exactly what you did say)! Anyway, I haven't yet figured out where on the car to run that Pin 30 wire that will give me BOTH the clutch switch AND the neutral switch needed for the...

Can someone tell me/measure clutch fork travel?

I am having problems with my clutch (aside from the occasional 'clutch speed related' grinding noise - no, it's not the TOB) and getting my trans in gear (new T5, 20k, unlikely to be the culprit). Basically, putting the clutch to the floor still leaves me pulling somewhat hard on the shifter to...

Pressure - 89 power steering pump

ok, well, put it this way: I want to use late model accessories on a 68 mustang (including a "fox" pump) and I wanted to make sure this was in spec for a rack and pinion kit that needs a pump that maxes no more than "1250-1300 lbs." So I'm guessing this would be fine based on those specs? Thanks!

    KOER... no flashing

When running a Key On Engine Running code test, how long should it take for any flashing to occur (i believe there should be 1 to indicate you are to rev the engine momentarily - as fordfuelinjection.com instructions say - http://fordfuelinjection.com/?p=94)? My KOEO tests work fine but when I...

    Lean + code 66 after "hot-pluggin" MAF

Ok, so I got my new MAF in and no longer get a code for that... but for some reason I still get 41 (which I did NOT get 3 hours before refiring when I removed it to tighten header bolts)... But from your description, jrichker, it means the SYSTEM is lean, but the car would probably RUN rich...

Anyone with SN95 font suspension? 68?

No, the sn65 is a completely different idea/setup. And I wasn't griping about the options from fatman or who ever. I think they are fine for what they are (cause I know they have a LOT of r&t into them) and the prices are fine. I'm just saying that if it can be done (with self-labor) it's a...
