    Rim size question

    My current wheels (Pony's) are 16x7 with a 22mm offset and a back spacing of 4.875. The wheels I am about to purchase are 17x8, 12mm, 4.95 (front) and 17x9 24mm, 5.95. What will these numbers affect? Will the wheel stick out more or be sunk in the fender more?

    Summit doesn't have any specs and I can't find much online. The only info I did find was that they BOTH are about .8 drop in the front and .5 in the rear. If that is the case then what is the difference? MY car is dropped 1.5 now and its too much. The ride is harsh and bigger wheels won't...

    Can I put a 275/40 17 on a 17X8 rim?

    Its a stock short block 30 over with a cam, GT40 intake, a ton of little bolt ons, and a little blower making about 5-6 psi. The car runs strong but its no animal. Low 12's with a good hook and some abusive shifting. I will probably throw some AFR 165's at it this winter

    Beautiful car! Where did you get those wheels? I want 99 Cobras but I'm not going to pony up a grand for the full 5 lug conv. Plus they only come in 17X8. I am looking for a wheel that will look good with a 275/40/ 17 for the rear and those look great. I might pick a set up and powder coat...

    Looking at some 17x8 99 Cobra rims. What tires can I fit on those and what offset am I looking for. What does the offset affect? What offset are the stock Pony's? Sorry for the dumb ass question but I have never done anything more that stock wheels on any of my Mustangs
