    no, its the plastic peices that run from the front bumper, along the door and quarter panels and to the bumper.

    on a 1990 lx, do the trim peices on the outside of the car slide off or are they glued? what would be the best way to take them off? (have to get to some rust thats runs under them) thanks.

    well thank you both for the help though. when i go to look at the car again i know what to look at now at least. my father works with the guy that owns the car now, so i wasnt too worried. and oh yea, no emissions tests in michigan, lol.
