    70 Radiator in 65 Mustang

    are you sure the inlet and outlet will work with your motor? mine are on the oposite sides, inlet on top , pass side outlet on bottom, driver side. If the hoses are correct , id do what ever you have to do to get it to bolt in, its a nice set up. Shouldnt be too dificult.

    What acid to use for stripping?

    there's a product called Aircraft Remover. Either in a spray can or a brush on. apply it, wait like 2 minutes and the paint bubbles and you scrape it off. Works great. Did my entire car in a few hours.

    Those areas are not my problems. I think I already fix those areas. my problems are: I run a main girdle that requires longer studs, and the 2 on the back interfere with the pan (the shallowest part of the pan) I beat the crap out of it to make it fit originally, broke the pan in the process...

    If you're going to spend the money for new one, look into a crossflow style , It will run cooler than a downflow.

    if your electric fan is in front od the radiator , id get rid of it. Allot of times a fan up front hurts air flow. i'd concentrate on the engine fan, and make sure it has a proper fan shroud. Id start there and see what happens. is it hot all the time? how hot is it cruising around town...
