Should I let her drive my baby?

I always told my girlfriend (now wife) 'trust me, you wouldn't like driving it. The 30 yr old clutch is really tough to engage, and the manual steering is hard to drive'. Not that I don't have confidence in her driving ability (she learned to drive in Metro DC, and if you can drive there...

    T-10 help

The Ford Parts Interchange manual has a breakdown of the T-10's Ford has used. I looked at it last time I was at the bookstore, but I can't remember any details, other than there were a bunch of different T-10's used. As far as close ratio, and someone correct me if I'm wrong, I think all...

    Can someone PLEASE explain....

I was concerned about the part number variation too. After calling I went to the low guys counter to order and he had the gasket, just not the valve cover, so I got that and ordered the valve cover through them. I compared the gasket to the old valve cover and it looks to be the right one, so...

    Restore mustang in 1 week

And the Discovery Channel (owns TLC) has plenty of money floating around to fund these productions. I spent a couple years recently working on their new headquarters in Silver Spring, MD. Half a million sqare foot office space with upgrades like marble imported from Israel for the bathroom...

    Can someone PLEASE explain....

Yea, I've heard of guys getting a transfer case shift motor for a navajo at a mazda dealer for like $100 cheaper than the explorer equivalent at ford. I guess everybody is just trying to earn a living, some a little better than others. As far as the C or D rated item, the part that I am...

    Can someone PLEASE explain....

Can someone explain to me Ford's repair parts pricing structure? I called three local dealers parts counters to get pricing on a valve cover for my '93 4.0L Ranger. Prices I got were $109, $69, and $61. I can understand a little price difference based on dealer volume, but come on, is the...

    66 Coupe A-Arm drop problem

I've made three templates out of metal or lexan, and they keep ending up being too small (holes too close together). I've been using a zerox copy out of the Branda catalog. Finally I measured the copy I've been using to make the template, then I measured center to center on the control arm...

    Policy Change

Good point, but I guess without those pop-ups we would all have to be goldmembers to use the forums. Somebody's got to pay for it. Not saying I like them, but I see it as a necessary evil.

Total Control Products, where to buy?

That would be news to me. Most checkcards are now offering fraudulent use protection now, like credit cards, but I haven't heard of any that will settle disputes with merchants. They are like writing a check (thus the name), therefore you would have the same protections as writing a check -...

    Rain SUCKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Snow is actually better than rain when your car leaks, you can brush the snow off before it melts, keeping your car dry inside. Downside is you can't drive it year round.

    I baught one!!

Not only were they gold, but the air cleaner body is a different style than what you have. It has a top the size of the body, rather than just the size of the filter.

    Heard Bad stuff...

Back to the original topic, I'm sure I have read that the gas spray in the passenger compartment from being rearended has actually happened only a handful of times in the 40 years mustangs have been on the road. And I'm sure more than a handful have ben hit hard in the rear. Same goes with the...
