Chelle, That's a beautiful Oscar. I'd love to take him, but I've got two problems. I sold my big tank, and I live about 1000 miles too far away. I used to have two 12" Oscars (I too thought they were a breeding pair) but they both got hole in the head disease after I had them about a...

    Political boo-boo...

We had 'unprovoked' large scale attacks with mass casuatlies on our soil for the first time ever (someone know of anything else like it?). This showed we were vulnerable (and this vulnerability did not just pop up in the 8 months Bush occupied the White House). Bush had our intel, intel from...

    OMG, anyone seen this before

I would think that some of you guys (and you know who you re) that write disertations on why Eleanor and the continuation series is an abomination to the hobby could come up with volumes to say as to why this is wrong.

    OT: Rides (On TLC)

I'm just glad no one rants on the the Terlingua's. I actually like them better and they remind me of why I choose a coupe over a fastback.

Almost perfect display of driving skills

It sounded to me like it was a TV news helicopter with the idiot anchor person trying to explain what people were watching.

    OT: Rides (On TLC)

While I do understand your point, I still think it's all relative. These cars are being built for people of wealth, people who don't have the time/skill/know how/etc. to build their own like most of us do. Just like back in the '60's, original Shelby owners didn't build their cars that way...

Caught finally, but there were a couple moves there that any stunt driver would be proud of.

    Thread subscription

Am I the only one that's suddenly not getting email notification for thread and forum subscriptions? Happened about the same time I was promoted to a FOUNDING MEMBER!  :spot: (I always wanted a semi custom title)

    OT: Rides (On TLC)

Pak, The guys mistreating birds at KFC's henhouse were fired. It's OK to go to KFC again. I do have one question, why didn't anybody get upset when Carrol Shelby bought bone stock Mustangs from Ford 39 years ago, most certainly threw out some stock parts to add his own, and sell...

Almost perfect display of driving skills

Anybody seen this? This guy can drive his a$$ off. Should have added a supercharger, he could have gotten away. http://www.punchbaby.com/media/gitfakt/clips/cool/mustangspin.wmv Not that I condone car theft or anything. :notnice:

    OT: Rides (On TLC)

I caught the episode, loved it. Kept drooling on the remote. I know a lot of you don't like the Eleanor's, but I thought it was a sweet ride. I'd love to have one. Jason Giambi is one hell of a lucky guy (except for having to play for the yankees) to be getting one of the SS's. I just hope...

    After Market Instrument Panel

There is a cheap (inexpensive) R-model type bezel for aftermarket gauges. I think either NPD or Mustangs Unlimited have it in their catalog. It's like 50 or 60 bucks. Somebody on this board has one, but I've never seen pictures of it installed, so I'm not sure how it looks, but it does the...

What to do: Keep car from gettin stolen.

What to do: Keep car from gettin stolen.

When I was in college in Norfolk, VA I would take my coil lead with me. Of course I could have fallen victim like 2nd Mustang gave an example of, but fortunately I didn't. A coil lead for a '65 mustang is not something that every would be car thief has. The object is to make it easier to...

    Some Pics

What a piece of art. Our local Ford show last september had three or four Pantera's in attendance that I drooled over, but none look as sweet as yours. Nice work. I might be willing to trade a well thought of '65 coupe for the Pantera if you're interested......

    list of classic mustang websites

Try www.vamustang.com Not the most glamorous website, but quality stuff at good prices. Their merchandise occasionally gets mentioned in the tech writeups in the magazines, although most of it may be the same stuff everyone else sells. Only thing missing is shipping discount for large...

That was pretty awesome. Someone needs to stop drinking out of the toilet, eh?

Just got back from my first Indy car race.

It was fun, but the cars were almost too fast. NASCAR averages in the 130 mph range here at the Richmond track, but these Indy cars go between 160 and 170! Usually just a blur. I think I'll stick to NASCAR, the home grown drivers have personalities and 'cult' followings by their fans, plus...

I'm surprised no one saw this

That's what every bowtie wants to be when it grows up. Might be worth 15K if they throw in the "Elegance" front plate!
