The not-so-official Stangs in the Snow thread

I agree. As long as you have the proper tire and aren't a complete jackass, you can drive them in the winter. Obviously there are better choices, but if it is what you have to do then it really isn't so bad. I drive my 95 in the winter and it gets around great. I have only gotten stuck once...

    the infamous swap

I did the swap about a year and a half ago. The best option is to find a wrecked 94-95 GT and swap everything over. Thats what I did. It runs great!

The SN95 I could have bought

Close. It was 96 that had the Mystic. In 96 they called it the Mystic Cobra and in 04 they caled it the Mystichrome. Both nice cars. I kind of like the colors in the 04 Mystichrome than the 96 though. You definitely still bought a nice car! Your 06 looks pretty sweet. Even though most would go...

    She's getting old...

I hit 34,000 on my 2002 GT right before I put her away for the winter. My 95 is at like 236,000 lol. Thats what the car is, the 3.8 was taken out and a 5.0 was swapped in and that motor has like 178,000 or somethin like that. Still runs perfect and I romp on it quite a bit.

Los Angeles - Sunny Blue Sky & a Red Mustang

there are a lot of the SN95's without ABS. It was standard sometime in the late 90's or early 00's until I think 2003 and then it was made optional again and then im sure its standard on the new ones

    How Many GTS Owners Here?

I think the only way to see if it is a GTS is if you look at it. Even when you type in a GT VIN to car fax it says "1995 FORD MUSTANG GT/GTS "

    How Many GTS Owners Here?

Now I have heard that some GTS' have had wings from the factory...is that true? Hey Whistler...can you post some pictures of your GTS? I have a 95 Bright Blue Coupe and would really like to see some pictures of it.

*PICS* took the wing off...where to get plugs for the trunk?

Yes you can probably find a trunklid for cheap from a V6. Most didnt have them in 94-95 I thought. I didnt always have one . I put one on after I swapped the 5.0 in.

    95 motor tranny swap

I bought a donor car as well. I bought the car for 800 and probably the total including the price of the car was 1200 to do the swap. very easy swap but I would definitely buy a donor car if you can find one. It is much much easier.

I know I am not that guy, but I have mac and it sounds AMAZING! I am in love with the sound. I had a muffler shop weld up some 3 1/2" Tips and its just right for the exhaust cutouts in the bumper.
