9" rear end into 67 coupe

It didn't come from the factory like that, so unless the previous owner changed out the parts, it'll be an open diff with 28 spline axles. This is easy enough to check though - pull the axles and count the number of splines. Are you making the power to need 31 splines or just want some extra...

Tall valve covers for roller rockers?

Ford Racing also makes a tall valve cover. It'll also clear stud girdles (although not with the baffles installed).

67 Fastback body on 2005+ chassis?

Have you driven an 05+? They (especially the Shelby GT and Bullitt) handle incredible well. That said, I know you can get a classic to handle that well, but it's big $$$. Nemesis67 - what's the goal? Do you just want your fastback to be different or did you just want the modern driveline...

Which front apron should I use?

I like the first too, but a front 3/4 shot would help. The front spoiler can look a little out of place sometimes if they're too long.

    67 Upper Console Restoration Question

I've got the original socket (missing the buttons) that I compared the repo too, looks like it's about the same size. It's black instead of chrome which I found kind of odd. bnickel, I'll give that a shot. Probably going to try some black double-sided tape to maybe take up some of the gap...

    67 Upper Console Restoration Question

So I've spent the last few days taking my time and doing a careful restoration of my upper console... I reassembled it tonight and everything was smooth except for the new map light switches. There's daylight where I'm pretty sure there shouldn't be any!! Previously there was a...

    AWG Wire Chart?

you'll be fine with 10 gauge wire on a taurus fan with that length of wire.

    Keepin it all cool.

ETEL64, are you stuck on using a brass radiator? Understandable if the car is mostly original. I've got a generic aluminum radiator from Summit and my 67 doesn't get hot with low-speed on a Taurus fan (I live in Houston too). My AC isn't currently charged, but even then with high speed on the...

Type of Nail Gun for MDF Console / Speaker box?

Thanks for the input. Looking at some lighter materials. Maybe MDF for the support pieces and thin plywood for the sides.

Type of Nail Gun for MDF Console / Speaker box?

Cool. That's one of the ones I was looking at. Would it be any good for MDF? say 1/2" thick (console)?

Type of Nail Gun for MDF Console / Speaker box?

Looking at making a custom console for my car. Any suggestions on type of nail gun be best? Would probably use it for some other cabinet / furniture construction too... I'm assuming a 16 gauge brad nailer for nailing the MDF together? 18gauge stapler for upholstery on it? Thanks!!

PICS NEEDED: Unisteer or Randall's P/S pump with serpentine belt

Looking at the install instructions it looks like these racks now fit with headers? That was one of the main reasons I was considering sticking with TCP for a power rack, but if I can stick with headers and the factory clutch linkage, Unisteer may have sold another rack...

No Oil Pressure - Fresh Rebuild

Dennis, that's the missing piece. I wasn't around when my buddy put on the intake and we had that plug leftover. Looks like we found the home. Thanks!! :SNSign:

No Oil Pressure - Fresh Rebuild

Just got done putting together an 85 roller 302 and got no oil pressure on startup. What was done: Block decked, new cam bearings, new crank bearings, new pistons, new rings, new lifters. Same heads and oil pump as when it ran before. Everything went together real easy except for one...

    Almost finished pictures.

Glad to hear this feedback, I had been considering getting one of those braces, but was concerned about the distributor clearance. Think I might look elsewhere for one!

    anyone install their own headliner?

+1 on the binder clips with brush-on contact cement. My Dad and I did it in my '67 fastback with the "tuck" method about 9 years ago. Been fine in the Texas summers ever since! That said, I'm changing the color of the interior and think I'm probably going to pay someone to do it this time!
