Anyone swap a dash out in a 94/95?

Just take your time and save all the nuts and bolts. Dont forget the 3 that are behind the defroster vent in the front.

what do you believe to be accurate?

Hissin50. With your logic. And im not trying to be a smartass here. Wouldn't taking a "loose value" and adding a % to the baseline for "XX amount of power." Be the same as just using a loose percentage. And I agree with you on it being a loose figure. Too many factors.

Anybody here running an F303 Cam?

The cam is a good choice especially if your are going with a turbocharged application. Go to turbomustangs.com and do a search. Lots of info on the f-cam there.

people with aftermarket oil pressure gauge?

Mine about the same. Autometer R1 Guage thats like 5 years old. Drops to 0 at idle sometimes.

what do you believe to be accurate?

I personally would say percentage. The faster you try to turn over the drivetrain the more it pushes back. For example. Grab a 10lb weight and hold it straight out. Now spin it slowly. The weight doesn't push back on you that hard. Now try and spin that same weight at a faster rate and it...

    Tubular A Arms

I have MMR a-arms mounted to the stock k-member. They bolted up fine. Although I used coilovers. I would reccomend getting coilovers anyways while your in there.

    Quick Tubular K-Member Question

I think the brace is worhless unless your a hardcore autocrosser or road racer.

    Quick Tubular K-Member Question

The basic advantage to aftermarket k-members is weight savings. With the use of coilovers as well you can shave off a good amount of weight. Your options should first be categorized by what your doing with the car. Drag or Road Race. Street setups can fall under drag setup for the most part. And...

    Pressure Plate Touching Bellhousing

You seriously had to have installed something wrong. Where exactly did you have to clearence the bellhousing? And what was hitting? Do you need to ajust the pivot ball for the clutch fork? What year is the t-5 from and what model car?

    problem with the stang

Go over all your plastic vacuum lines again. Like the ones on the passenger side. (At least on my 93) And check if any of them are cracked. Like the one that goes to the FP regulator. Or the EGR valve. Also, check for an exhaust leak at the h-pipe to header connection. Make sure there isn't...

    TACH Install

Robin, this is how I did dave's tack with the red 4v. When you look at the back of the cluster it looks like a motherboard. Follow the line to the connector. And I think stprorolla49 is right on the color. I tapped into the line using folding crimp connector. Requires no stripping on any of...

    SLP Loud Mouth

I would honestly look into a different type of exhaust. Its stainless steel from what I remember which was definately nice but it was one of the worst sounding exhausts I have ever had. Ive had all the flowmasters and mac as well. All on my 95gt. But its my personal opinion that it sounds like...

    Rear Main Seal Q?

90bluecoupe - definately the RMS. 10HoleLX - Curious why giving it a little oil would cause a problem. Wouldn't putting it in dry possibly make it more prone to being damaged at first startup on a dry crank.

    Rear Main Seal Q?

Im on my 3rd rear main seal on my turbo project. First one I did worked which was my first time ever doing one. When my trans case cracked I sent the car to my mechanic to change the RMS thinking that was it. So he changes the seal and finds the crack in the trans case. Anyways trans...

    Have to index McLeod Scattershield?

The mcleod is indexed when it is made. They index it and then punch out the dowel pin holes. Although if you have a motor that has been rebuilt, I would suggest checking it out.

Steering rack ? with 96+ spindles.

Ive also heard of using taurus tie rods, I just wanted to hear someone chime in. Thanks for the imput though. Good idea. I went with the 96 spindles because I got them for free with my 03 brakes.

Steering rack ? with 96+ spindles.

After completing my 5-lug swap I did a quick home alignment to get the wheels straight. I noticed that with the extended wheel base I have with the 96+ spindles, my power steering rack is at the last few threads it seems right at the tie rod. Is there any other type of tie rods out there...
