    It could be the pcv valve/crankcase breather. Also could be the baffle in the lower intake causing it to suck oil and cause it to smoke.

    How old is your battery?sounds like it has a leak/bad cell.

    It sounds like a exhaust leak or a burned spark plug wire could be causing the misfire.. Have you checked the wires? plus have you check for an exhaust leak?..because it sounds like you have one. Both would cause that sound and a misfire.

    I have too seen engines run fine too but had other problems. But you said you changed the engine mounts to stock convertible mounts and it had more vibration than the poly mounts. Okay so you when install the poly mounts motor/trans that vibration should stop.

    Do you really think you have a bent rod? do you have good oil pressure? and is your engine knocking or smoking ?if not ...like i said before change the trans mount so it will match the engine mounts.

    Trust me a bad ECT sensor will cause your car to run real rich or real lean once the engine is warm. And sometimes it will not even send a code and your car will run like crap.

    Are you running a air filter under the hood/ram air? or are you running a true cold air kit/fender well? Because if you are running an open air filter under the hood with the heat and the air from the fan ..you will have problems ..no matter what mass air meter you run.

    Yes check the balancer while you are replacing the pulleys..the crankshaft pulley should not be wobbly.

    I run all poly mounts motor /trans with no problems..no vibrations in the shifter and i run a steeda shifter.     It's your call..but i would have just changed the trans mount to match the motor mounts and see if it cut back on the vibration. Think about it everything else is stiff and you have that one rubber mount for the trans so when the vibration comes were do you think it goes..to the weakest/softest...

    Well if you are running an aftermarket shifter that does away with the rubber bushings. Plus you are running stiffer crossmember bushings and polyurthane motor mounts an a rubber trans mount you will have more vibration in the shifter. If every bushing/mount were stock you wouldn't feel any...

    Just replace the tps for now..because that code 93 /bad ground on the tps sensor caused the ecu to throw that code 12 for the idle control motor and that's what cause the drop in power. Just set the new tps at 0.50-0.90 volts and you should be okay...and make sure you take both battery cables...

    Why not buy a good blueprint crate 347 engine that comes with 415hp ...it cost $4000.00 from jegs it comes with a good warranty. Then if you want to you can throw a 150 shot at it. How much are you trying to spend because to make 600hp will cost you.
