From LS1.com - Lutz says no new Camaro

just as a side note I sent a very long letter to GM Canada President Michael Grimaldi about my disappointment with the direction they are going and in the raping they do to Canadian consumers with their unfair prices. I sent it registered yesterday...I am only a drop of water in a big pond but...

From LS1.com - Lutz says no new Camaro

The biggest point to make is GM makes nothing cool for regular Joes period! anymore. If you have $50 or more to throw away, great. I am in between blue collar and white collar wages and I think what GM offers cost too much. Why would I pay more for a car than what I paid for my house (and my...

From LS1.com - Lutz says no new Camaro

CTS-V base price is $70,000 XLR base price is $110,000  Forget it at that price, up there with over priced...at least in Canada. Ya they look cool but why does only the rich get to drive any of those. I can't get anything cool from GM new for under $40k (and if you think a Cavalier...

From LS1.com - Lutz says no new Camaro

With him involved it will be over priced bland crap...SSR, GTO...need I say more? (ok SSR is not bland, just over priced) This is my opinion only, the last test for me is to see what happens with the Solstice. They say $20k, it will likely be that in the USA but if it's anything more than $27k...

    price on 05 Mustang

Not here in Canada, maybe much cheaper than MSRP but not that much. I would buy it if it were. Mach 1 in Canada starts at $37k. Besides...they don't come in a vert.

    price on 05 Mustang

All I know is there is a whole lot of them here in Edmonton (5-6 dealers) and the dealer I visited had atleast 10 GTs and a couple Mach 1's some verts and many base models. I would guess at least 25-30 Mustangs in stock. The salesman tried to put me in a 04...told him NO, not interested. I...

    price on 05 Mustang

Of course, pricing will be different in the US, I gave the $30k number so you guys see what $40k Canadian is worth in US$. What is the MSRP price of an 04 convertible GT loaded.

    price on 05 Mustang

visited one of the local Ford dealers today and asked for whatever info they had regarding the 2005 Mustang. The salemans I talked to is the "Mustang Sales" expert there and he told me that the last meeting he was in with regards to the 05 was there was going to be a very marginal price increase...

I'm kinda leaning towards gettin the '05, but..

I'll just wait and get the 5th or 6th or 20th...I don't care as long as I get one. It will be winter here when they come out anyway (if it is Feb)

    V8 base Mustang

If you were to cost the car out by the hour usage you would be astonished on how high it is. A former colleague put an hour meter on his car as an experiment to figure out the cost by the hour. Keep in mind this was in 1988 and he discovered his car was costing him $80 an hour (factoring in...

New Cobra on Rides (TV program)

New Cobra on Rides (TV program)

Anyone catch that...wow, I couldn't get over the detail put into the concept car. They also showed a lot shots of the new Mustang and the mules Mustang that had the prototype V10...yikes, was that ever fast! Full of commentary from Carrol Shelby.

    starting to get bored

I would differ on the bored statement...coming here is making more and more excited, It's like a being a kid waiting for Christmas just before Easter has arrived. And you know when you are a kid...5 minutes is an eternaty (at least for my 6 year old niece it is..."aw I have to wait that...

    No sub 20k 2005 V8

GTO...never saw one and unless I go to the US I never will either, they are not available in Canada (bast4rds) Don't care anyway, don't want one either. I doubt there will be a sub $20 V8 as well.

    V8 base Mustang

100% true...To give and example of this is GM and the SSR. The Canadian price is totally out of wack compared to the US price. Currently you can get a SSR in the US cheaper by over $15k than in Canada and the only way GM will fix that is if the dealers can't sell them (MSRP $43k USD / $70K CDN -...

    Turbo V-6

for me at the moment it's V8 or nothing. I don't want anymore 4 or 6 cyl cars. I haven't had a V8 car since my 75 Monte Carlo (which was a dog where performance was concerned) before that 77 Olds Cutlass (even worst, but incredible gas mileage for a 8 cyl) and before that...ahhhhh my old 1968...

    V8 base Mustang

I didn't realise that you couldn't get a base Mustang currently with a V8 (at least not in Canada) so my thoughts are if it's not available now, what chance it there it will be in 2005? I hope so, I like the looks of the base better (mainly because I don't like the big fog lights in the grill)...

From LS1.com - Lutz says no new Camaro

I hate FWD because you can only do donuts in reverse  My wife likes it but then again she has never driven anything else so she doesn't know the difference. I tried to avoid it as much as I could but when the family starts and you got less $$$ your choice is limited to pretty well only FWD...

From LS1.com - Lutz says no new Camaro

I agree with the FWD, that sucks, that's why it my wife's car...but I like the looks (at least it's better than that awful Lumina Monte Carlo) and she loves the car because it's a FWD...go figure  Great riding car, incredible gas mileage...don't be too hard on it, it may be one of GM's...
