    First E.T.'s with new 347

Good for you for taking such a cool car to the track....:nice: Pretty good times for your suspension/tire set-up. With those tires and 620lb coils in the front it will be hard to get sub 2 sec. 60ft. times. But I bet your car handles pretty good! The other side of the equation is if you...

    Hood Pins

For a short period of time my car had the flush style hood pins with the barrell type (pop machine) lock. They really only engaged about 1/4 turn. My car does not have the factory hood latch so I was not comfortable with this set-up. I am currently running the old style studs/pins with the...

    Finally!! 10sec street car.

Congrats on the great times. All of my cars are driven on the street. I have to admit that I have trailered a car to the track and drove a car to the track. It is a lot more comforting to know that the trailer is available should the need arise.:nice: Scott

18's really to big on a 65-66? pics inside!

Another positive response. I think it looks great. I am biased though I have 18"s in the rear and 17''s in the front. However I also like the more traditional look of 15's and 16's as well on certain cars. IMHO what looks good is influenced by paint/mods/stance etc... !8's on some...

What's the best deal you ever got on a Stang?

I realize that this is in the classic section but... A few years ago I decided that I wanted a Saleen. After a year long intense search I had a dealer tell me about an Artic White 2000 S.C. Speedster that was for sale. A recently divorced middle aged man had bought this car new off the...

    G-Force or Tremec TKO600?

I have the G Force T5 purchased from Tony @ Astro Performance as well. It works very well with my FRPP 347c.i./450hp/400ft lbs tq. The G force is also much lighter than the TKO and required no mods to the trans tunnel on my 65 Fasback. Scott
