    Door Speakers

Yep, been there on the kick panel speakers and to my admitedly damaged ears, they still sound pretty cheesy with so little room behind the speakers for the volume of air needed to move. No one in the doors hunh? Too non-stock for everyone? Maybe I'll be a trendsetter if I can figure out a...

    Door Speakers

Aside from SN65, where everything is a combination of stock plus new plus engineered, :hail2: , has anyone put speakers into the doors of a 68 coupe? (I know his isn't a 68, or a coupe for that matter.) Were you happy with the way they looked and sounded? Better than the kick panel sound...

    How many Toothed Gear?

I had new gears plus posi put into my rear end recently so of course my speedo is wildly off. All other things being equal (tires, etc.), what should I go with for my gear (19 teeth?) at the tranny changing from stock 2.80 to 3.50's (or was it 3.55's?). Project is a mostly-stock 68 coupe 302 with...

    Window Parts Prep

While my ride - 68 Coupe - is in the paint shop, I'm going to get all of the door internals ready to go back in. How best to clean them (Green or Orange stuff?) without the disposal problems of old-style cleaners like gasoline? After everything is cleaned up, should I put anything on them to...

    "Scoop/Swoosh" Trim

Its been too long since I disassembled my 68 coupe for paint, and now I can't remember - On the skinny "C"-shaped chrome in the rear quarter panel, what do I do with the grey piece between the sheet metal and the chrome piece? Does it get painted the same as the car? Thanks :SNSign:

    Sillplates

I know that sn65 is having problems with his sillplates and it sounds like they need to be thinner. My question is: has anyone ever found anything thicker than the aluminum foil variety that shows EVERY little poke or jab? Seems like I have to replace mine on my 68 coupe every 3 months. Any...

need advice on good sound system

I've got the molded kick panels with good pioneer speakers and they sound so Freakin' Tinny. What can I do to prevent that? Sorry for semi-off-topic but we seem to have wandered anyway.

    67 coupe quarter glass?

I "THINK" that the 67 is the same as my 68 which I have just stripped down to the bare nubs for painting. After you've taken off your interior piece, damn near every nut or bolt you can get to needs to be taken out. Only then will the glass come up and out. Pay careful attention to everything...

    The SN65 project car

GREAT PROJECT and beautiful craftsmanship!!:hail2: Just looked at your website update for today and you were talking about the sill plates. Did you find/does anyone make sillplates that are more than the easily dinged or dented, thin gauge type? I'm on my third set because of their fragile...
