    Another incredibly easy way to fill the tranny is to remove your shifter and pour the fluid in the top of the tranny until it starts to come out of the fill hole. I used about 4qts in my t-56.

    I did a few searches but for some reason I'm drawing a blank. I need to know if a T-45 from a 00GT will swap into a 98GT. I think I found that the 98 uses a mechanical speedo...so that may be a problem. Is that the only thing or are the tail housings different too?

    you'll need a shorter driveshaft or a cobra droveshaft, modified crossmember or just buy a cobra crossmember, wire up the reverse lockout solenoid, bang out the tunnel a little where the tranny rubs. If you go with a cobra driveshaft, you will need a cobra pinion flange.

    as for the xpipe you can do it with no problems 1. Jack the car up as high as you safely can. 2. be sure to have decent selection of extensions and a swivel or two. 3. might need to soak the nuts in pb blaster or wd40.

    I use the Bilstein HD with H&R race springs and love them. The ride is firmer but not harsh. I've had other guys ride in my car who had other combos and immediately want to swap to bilstein's.
