Hook it up to keep your nice shiny throttlebody warm and full of coolant :) I personally had my blazed over with a welder

Progress Thread Cars alive again, but would these items move on marketplace?

If your using a pcv valve still you want to keep the system closed. That filter on the oil filler tube in the picture looks like a solid vacuum leak to me man. If your going to run breathers on the valve covers you need to remove the pcv valve and plug it's whole in the lower intake. Best...

Progress Thread Progress Thread kinda stalled- looking to get it back going again!

I know the instructions say to toss one .48" and .24" under the spherical bearing and then one of each on top as well but perhaps the manufacture of your struts has more thread portion than other brands thus requiring that .24" on top to be moved to underneath the spherical bearing? Instructions...

Did you delete your pcv valve? I see a filter on the oil filler tub but no catch can so just wondering what your setup is in regards to that

    90mm Lightning MAF

I bought a new bbk when I was in a bind for the daily driver like two years ago.. Right out the box the thing sucked terribly. the dead proM it was replacing was better in it's dead state then that bbk. I now use PMAS meters in all three of my cars and haven't had any problems but if would be...

Problem With TAD/TAB Solenoids Codes 81/82. PLEASE HELP.

Good luck and that isn't true. They are not only for speed density cars

    351w swap advice

I've done it a few times both ways with an engine and tr3550 and prefer the engine/trans as one install even though it requires a bit more effort. Granted both cars had tubular k members so a little more room for activities than say a factory k member car but stil should be do able. In my...

Problem With TAD/TAB Solenoids Codes 81/82. PLEASE HELP.

No that doesn't have anything to do with the TAD and TAB I would double check to make sure they are connected to the right valves

    e303, sniper, afr heads

Given that the car will be a cruiser and your 18 years old on a budget I would suggest just picking up a set of used gt40 heads and having them gone through. Upgrade the springs and bolt them on with an explorer or cobra intake and 65mm throttle body. Keep the stock injectors, stock cam and...

    Horse Power Gains?

You should be in the 12's now and the combo your fellow racer mentioned probably wouldn't gain you anything over your current setup. What rear tires? play with the tire pressure a bit, unbolt one side of your front swaybar for more weight transfer while at the track and practice.

    Popping/Extreme Loss of Power/Misfire under load?? 1989 HCI 302.

what kind of vacuum readings were you getting at idle before you tore it apart? Fuel pressure steady? no code 21 present? compression check or at least a cylinder balance test comes to mind if it were my car just throwing that out there

    What's the difference?

Drove my grandfathers 87 escourt gt once in a while when I first got my license and it was a fun car to putt around in. The car had something like 171k on it when he passed away and was sold. He had zero issues with it and I wish I could have that car today

    Steering wheel install

I doubt that has the required space to retain the clock spring. Haven't seen one made yet that does. You'll have to run without one and deal with the ugly space/gap or fab up a cover. Others have cut up there clockspring and bolted it back in to take up the gap but I would advise against...

I can see what your saying about the white walls like. I don't have any good pictures of them on my red coupe but here is one with them on my daily driver which the wheels originally were purchased for. I felt the polished lip broke up the black and dark shadow blue Oh sweet you went with...

Foxbody Wing, have you seen this one? Info needed

I've always thought they looked like crap and didn't follow the lines of the foxbody at all but go for it. I've never seen one on a 79

Nice, yeah I've had the black with machined polished lip FR500 combo on my coupe for about six years now. I went with the polished lips to break up all the black. You'll like wheels when you get them and yeah the black chrome looks pretty sweet in person

Foxbody Wing, have you seen this one? Info needed

lol I know people ran it but not many and that hood you speak of I've seen plenty of people back in the day rocking them. They were called twin turbo hoods and they were terrible looking. Something that that iroc owners should have had. Yeah your from NJ right? I am too i've spent allot of my...

What wheels are you waiting on? and couldn't you just pick up a cheap set of bullets or waffle wheels to drive the car on for the fall season?
