    Cost to install new gears???

    I recently called the nearest Ford dealer and asked how much it would cost to install 3.73 gears with an Auburn differential. They said it would be about $500 labor + another $100 to correct the odometer. Sounds like too much to me. How much should it cost? Thanks, fiveoh_don
