    screwed up stud on rear drum

    I'm pretty sure you didn't bend the axle. It is pretty tuff. I drove for a week or two on three studs, just take it easy on corners and try to stay at slower speeds.     any old piece of pipe will work. As long as you can adapt the end to fit the TB and support is somehow then it will work. Tell ya what though. To me $50 is a third of a turbo motor.
