    Update on my life!

Great to hear you are doing well and staying out of trouble. :) Congrats on the expected new addition. Mna, how much does that house weigh with all of that tile??? :) It looks great BTW. I just moved into a new home and recently finished painting a ton of the interior walls myself... it...

Looking for input on an important decision with my '95 'vert... LONG

As many of you know I bought a PTK turbo kit for my car a number of years go. It was a top notch kit complete with a swain coated hot side, a turbosmart e-boost controller, and a T64e turbo. I then got busy and built my 331ci dart block as the foundation for this. Since then I added better...

Really need help with the focus...

How many miles are on it? My SVT has been taking longer to start than normal. I know they recommend a timing belt change at 100K miles, mine has 109K on it now. I called about a month ago and was quoted $500 to replace it. OUCH! I know it requires a special tool to hold the cam gears but I'm...

    HELP! Hood pin question.......

From what I think you are asking, cutting a hole in the underside of your hood is the solution. I had to do this when I installed my hood locks. The hood is double walled and the screws are meant to only go through one wall of the hood, so the underside one normally needs to be cut.

    They Found Noah's Ark

The best part is Crunked was actually a great guy from the board here playing around with another user name. The site was slow and he decided to spice it up a little. LOL! Obviously it made an impact as that was over 5 years ago and we're still talking about it. It was fun once I knew who it...

    They Found Noah's Ark

Oh, I found it!!! Its in the deleted threads though so I can't link it here. I'll copy and paste some of the lines. I highlighted and bolded the E cam quote from Crunked-A-Stang. LOL! Good times! This continued on for a few pages before it was locked and deleted and Crunked was banned.

    No More Cap n Rotor

LOL! If you think that is hard you should be me... my turbo kit has been sitting in a corner in my garage since 2005 along with a T64e and a T76 that I have for it. Someday it'll be on the car... LOL!

    vibration after clutch install

Did you replace the pilot bearing? Were you carefully not to knick it/knock it out? Back when I first started working on cars I couldn't get the tranny to go all the way in on my 1st clutch install. About 1/8" was sticking out of the bellhousing so I did the unthinkable and sucked it the rest...

tell me what c/c plates you use and why

I have steeda 4 bolt's on my '95 and MM on my '94. If I was starting from scratch and wanted function over looks I'd run the MM's. I run them on my '94 autocross car with Koni SA sports and a MM coil-over kit with 10" 425lb springs and I have absolutely no noise from them. I run Strange...

Blew stuff up at the track

That sucks. I hope its only a head gasket because with that much power on tap, there can be far worse things that can happen. Its nice to see you back on here though!

95 mustang gt stock vs 2000 pontiac gtp vs 2004 stock celica n/a 4 cyl

Thus the reason I didn't lock it Kurt. This is a new member though and I wanted him to know of the rules before this thread went in the wrong direction. I also know where these kind of threads go when posters are not reminded of the rules. BTW- I hate internet racers. :) LOL!

New race shoes for the Cobra

Well, I need longer wheels studs before I can mount them on the Cobra BUT... I do have 3" studs on the '95 up front so here is a few pics: Ryan- that is a hard one to answer. This kind of racing isn't like drag racing where you can compare times from one outing to the...

New race shoes for the Cobra

The only way I continue this habit is to keep my eyes and ears open for deals. I buy a lot of stuff used, or when I find specials. Its still an expensive hobby, but I have friends who's yearly golf and county club fees way outweigh the little bit I spend on my cars.

Thanks all! 94GTfreak- Thanks, I can't wait to see them on the car too!!! yukisho- I've seen way too many pics that people have put up here and elsewhere get used by random people to sell stuff. A buddy of mine had his car pictured in a major mustang suppliers catalog and after finding...

New race shoes for the Cobra

I have wanted a set of these wheels for a LONG time, especially since I got into autocross and luckily I grabbed a set today, complete with a set Hoosier Koni cup tires. I'll have to wait a few days before I can get pics of them on the car, but for now here's a little taste. These are my new...
