    I just eliminated mine and the biggest gain I hope to see is the cooling ability.I believe the weight loss is minimal but the weight transfer will be better.

    I would say your looking at a 11.90 pass @ around 115.You have a couple of things against you,weight,suspention,standard.If you get a 1.7 shorty than your looking at a mid 11.8. You will always be a little quicker with an auto because you don't come out of boost and you can't shift fast enough...

    The stock fpr holds it at 42 or so at idle and is a 1:1 ratio for fuel pressure until there is enough boost pressure to kick the fmu in and then it takes over.

    Those are some good #'s.I want you to try and understand that 30# injecters are more than enough to run what you have.I would say that you ran lean up top because of your fmu disk not having the right calibration,or your afpr should be bumped up.If you believe those are all good than I would say...

    Are 1993 5.0's safe to mod?

    I have roughly 550 on a non tuned motor to a more than capable ability of 600 with the botom end being all stock.I saw 10 to11psi of boost to get these numbers so basicly if the motor dosen't go lean under load and you keep it tuned to the safe side you shouldn't have any issues
