    0.55 ohms is actually tough for an average meter to measure acurately. So it's not uncommon to get 0.6 The secondary is the one that will be better for the average to measure. I've had coils measure near perfect and still miss when installed.

    Primary resistance is 0.55 Ohms Secondary resistance is 5.5K ohms The $90 was only for one. They can be had new for a little less.

    Nothing, after the Alpine and Ipod took it's place. Mine jammed in between changing cd's. I disconnected the battery for 1 hour and then reconnected it. This will force the CD player to reset and I was able to use it again.

    The haynes manual has a procedure to test each coil with an ohm meter. I'll look it up when I get home. That way you only have to replace the coils that don't work. I've had to replace 2 in 93K miles and it's always on a saturday so I wind up paying $90 from the local dealer.

    I got the Ford spray paint that matches my interior. The sticker on the door jam will have the interior color code. Go to the parts counter and ask them to order the can of spray paint that matches the interior. Then rustoleum makes a plastic primer for $5 at the home depot. Scuff it up...

    I'm going to take the tray underneath and see if there's a way I can position it so that when I drill I wont be near anything. But if dropping the tank a little doesn't require any fuel line disconnects, it's a no brainer
