    Hit 6's in the 1/8 mile ....

Thanks guys, It was just a matter of time- I knew something was going to let go once I started running 100+ in the 1/8. I'm just really glad the stock 5.0 block didn't split and take out my 347 crank, rods and the rest of the internals:) 9psi, 18 degrees lockout timing, and 91 octane...

    Too much Brake Booster pressure?

you need to re adjust the rod that comes out of the booster and goes into the master cylinder. pull the master cylinder away from the booster and hopefully there is enough room for you to adjust it with removing the brake lines.

    Carb tuning and suggestions plz

no, A 650 would be better off the line slightly but with the cam and the heads he is running the carb size is fine. I ran a 650 dp on my 306 with canfield heads and X-cam and a cam and then went to a 750dp and picked up a consistant 1.5mph in the 1/8.

    Lowering Blocks...

go to a local off road shop and find cast steel blocks instead of the cast aluminum junk. The ones from an off road place should also be tappered so the pinion angle won't change to the point it will cause horrible drive line vibration.

    Front Suspension Noise

the upper shafts that are bolted to the shock tower and hold your upper a-arm. Check those asap. jack up the car so the front end is off the ground and wiggle the tire side to side and up and down and you should be able to see were the noise is coming from.

no luck on my Granada brake search

that is really strange. I have noticed that no when I make a trip to the junkyard there is always a used Versi 9" up on a shelf for like 900-1000 bucks and all the granada stuff is gone. There are people that stay there all day waiting for that kind of stuff. good luck.

1/4 Mile dyno runs VS Actual runs

you have to remember that the 1/4 mile dyno runs on the dyno are much better than on the track because there is no wheel spin and no other variables to screw you up. Take a trip to the track :nice: is your fastback blue or black... are you from San Diego?
