decision of AMP for sound system

I MOST STRONGLY suggest that you check out Elemental Designs which is a direct online manufacturer. Their products are superb, and you will not find a better bang for the buck out there. I am one satisfied customer with their products in my GTO...and going into the 'vert. www.edesignaudio.com

For those who didn't like my LSx in a classic thread...

Nah...bet I've been into Mustangs since before you were born...and have owned more as well! Never had a GM product until the GTO, which is an incredible piece of Australian worksmanship...just happens to be a GM subsidiary, rather than a Ford. I really did find this funny...someone...

    Air suspension system?

Looking at the Ring brothers' creations, it appears to me that they believe appearance >> performance, so I'm not surprised that they are not fans of TCP.

    Illegal immigration petition

Government never fixes anything...it just adds layers of bureaucracy that spends our money as taxes [or takes it for themselves]. Don't hire illegals. Period. Very simple. EVERYONE is capable of doing this. Penalize those who do. It is not hard to figure out. No $$ => very few illegals...

    A PERFORMANCE sacrilegious swap

Easy to buy a Z06...obviously you haven't been trying! And, when all is said and done, that car loses money as soon as you drive it away from the dealer. OTOH, a classic mustang done right with a well-engineered suspension, engine & tranny, and supporting mods will NOT lose value over time...

    A PERFORMANCE sacrilegious swap

MM, my convertible project is already requiring so much in terms of custom fabrication, that nothing scares me. As far as the LS1 swap, it sure isn't proving much trouble to a friend's 1stGen Firebird. Swap harnesses are not hard to find. Computer? Just use HPTuners [how do you think my...

    A PERFORMANCE sacrilegious swap

And an aluminum LS2 block will handle just as much power; stock LS2 heads flow in the arena of good aftermarket SBF heads; AND THESE CARS CAME WITH PUSHROD V8 ENGINES, in case anyone has forgotten. Drivability? 700+ hp from >6 liters vs 2.3 liters... As far as the 'vert, there is a lot of...

    A PERFORMANCE sacrilegious swap

I see someone dragged this one up again...I am not a fan of the SBC/LT1. The LSx are very advanced pushrod motors, and I'd take an LS7 over a hemi crate motor any day! Ehhh...I'll get enough reactions from the blown 408W going in the 'vert. Well, the reaction will occur before they even see...

    Over the Top Question

351W [old, non-roller] can make some serious hp. Do you really think that 2.3 block can hold 700 hp??? If you guys are going put this thread back on the front page, I will bring up my LS2 in a classic mustang thread!

    baffle tank on 5.0L converstion

Interesting...where did you find that, and where are you looking to mount it? I assume you just fill it from the stock tank. Decent sized surge tank. I'm going to have to come up with a solution when I build my 65 which will be efi. The 'vert is getting a 408 w/ blow through, so my fueling...

    3-link, air bar, tri 4-link

EvM kit is in production. Year One built their 2+2 using Martz f & r suspension...but no real data on it. If I hadn't already done all of the rear construction on my 'vert, I would really look at the air-bar setup. This car will never be a handler, and the ability to 'slam' it would be kind...

    3-link, air bar, tri 4-link

I see you have done the TCP/Unique front conversion...are you convinced it was worth the $$? I am considering all options [except Griggs] for my '65. Of course, I am also awaiting more info from the SN65 guys on their Mustang/Ferrari plans! As far a Satchell, Louie was working on one, but...

Factory Five GTM. There are a couple of experienced builders that will be offering them for sale fully operational.

    Turbo or Supercharge 351w

Yep...if I didn't have 12+" of rubber under my rear quarters, I wouldn't be building my monster motor, that's for sure! My engine builder has reminded me of the characteristics of the centrifugal blower: if the front wheels start to come off the ground ~4000 rpm, it will get VERY interesting...

    What brand Mustang II?

Went w/ R&C as well. Call Heidts and get some "parts boy" on the phone who cannot answer any questions. OTOH, Willie is quite helpful. Martz also has a great setup, but it is an entire front end, not just the X-member. Not sure why you would just want that, anyway! You need the rest of...

    Turbo or Supercharge 351w

I am having a 408W being built as we speak. Other than ported aluminum heads, big cam, super victor manifold...there will be an ATI D2 supercharger. My builder does turbos and S/C's...much prefers setting up a blow-through for a S/C as the tuning is more straightforward. Looking at ~650 to...

69 being built with art morrison max g chassis

It does appear to be a Morrison chassis...but the MaxG is the much more serious front suspension. Forged aluminum 'vette arms and such. Longer arms than the MII setup = better camber curve and other such benefits.

69 being built with art morrison max g chassis

Somebody is mistaken. Art Morrison doesn't make a Max-G frame for Mustangs [trust me, I talked to them before I started on my 'vert]. If you look at the suspension on that frame, it is clearly using the MII setup, not the aluminum corvette parts. See the difference: vs this, from...
