    03 cobra going on dyno. I have ?????

    Just got back from the dyno! I wasn't expecting much hp gain before I went. When they told me what I pulled. I about crapped myself. 400.8hp/372.7tq. All I did was cut out the stock mufflers and replaced them with magnapack mufflers and put a BBK CAI on. Not Bad HP for $550.00.

    Thanks for your stock #'s. This gives me a idea what stock is. I've done a couple simple mods and I can see if it improves or not.

    This saturday my 03 is going on the dyno. Any tricks to get good #'s? All the mod's that are done is a k&n filter and the mufflers replaced with magnaflow 4" round. Not alot of $$$$ for mods at this time. What kinda numbers would I be looking at for rwhp?

    Has anyone had problems with a noisy front end? I took the cobra in to have Ford check out the my front end. I was in traffic one day and had to hit the brakes hard and heard a noise when the nose of the car dove down. I took the car in and they had a TSB on it and replaced the lower control...

    I took the cheap way to get a nice sound for my cobra. I had the stock mufflers cut out and added magnaflow 4"rd mufflers to the car. I know I gain some hp but how much? Has anyone done it this way? I Didn't have the $$$ for a catback but enough to do this way. She sounds sweet!!!!

    Motor oil in my 03 CAI

    I learned my lesson on my wifes 94 cobra. This was a brand new K&n with about 5k on it when I cleaned it. What really bugged me is that it was running down into the CAI tube. Then I'm thinking MAS getting dirty? Here I go again! Thanks guys.

    When you buy a new svt vechicle from Ford you get that stuff. The book was a extra goody because of the anni. Your dealer should have let you know about all that. You have one year free membership with svtoa as well.

    All I can say 03 is the way! Plus you have warranty! If you don't care about warranty. Then there is the pulley and chip with the other goodies and you have some serious hp!
