    GT vs. 05 STI

I hate foreign cars, I get sick of the "how great my import is" routine. My F-150 has 200 K on it, and most of that was towing a race car. My 99 Gt with the KB and other mods hauls butt for the 11 geezers I have in it. I'm saying you can't beat an american car for the same price, this is why...

Camaro's and T/A's running there mouths

It pretty much comes down to horsepower to weight ratios. Back in the late 50's a lot of the fast times set at the tracks were with bikes, then chromoly and blowers came along and that was the end of the bike deal. I can't believe that there a many cars that would hang with todays crotch...

You guys can tell me how full of crap I am. 93 mustang notch 2.3, 5 speed, 7.5 rearend budget .50 cents I have lying around misc parts from a 99 gt that might be used. 1. Springs -99Gt with cut coils 2. rear sway bar -99gt 3. front sway bar- either from a GT or maybe a Fairmont wagon...

    Dyno tune?

Probably not, the local tuner guys (with dynos) are hard to beat, they can dial the car right in, it's tough to do that through the mail.

    Nissan 350z

Well, if it was on the street you still don't know. I've seen guys that looked fast on the street get killed at the drags.

    supercharger gurus.....need advice

02 and showstopper have got it right on the local tuner. I know you are looking at other than the KB, but if a KB is what you really want, then go for it, I'm very happy with my little 6 pounder (2valve 342 RWHP, 20 mpg very mild driveable tune) I would think that the Mach would be a jet witht...

    Nissan 350z

http://www.autofacts.ca/classics/fast.htm I see a 13.9 at 102 mph for the 350 touring looks like the old time muscle cars still rule the roost although they used drag radials to do it. I guess those old G70x14 bias ply tires didn't quite get the job done.

    Good Deal on T-45/Others

Try http://www.manual-transmission.com/Just_ask_Darrell.php I've done business with them before and they honored a core T5 that was in pieces. I know "Mantrans" sounds like a bunch of crossdressers but once you get past the name they're good folks.

    Boiling brake fluid

Mystang is correct there is not much correlation between auto-x and open track. I've seen guys run small disc brakes and even drums because they're lighter (except for the hi zoot disc brakes) and there's always a cool down time between runs so they can get away with this.

    Boiling brake fluid

Also don't use the traction control, it applies the brakes during wheelspin and will destroy the rear pads. I'm a Hawk brake guy myself, it's funny that so many people worry about HP only to find the thing that screws them up the most is getting the car stopped. my home track is Sebring, lots...

try...http://www.racerwholesale.com/index.php?cPath=35&osCsid=b5d854514a90c4cd1306cd8bb154ce53 the DOT helmets are junk, snell "M" mean motorcycles, karts, etc, pretty much anything that you can't get burned alive in.
