    Disc brake conversion kits $999.99???

Baer has a couple kits that would work. The serious street kit they have uses 11" rotors and the 2 piston PBR calipers, this kit fits the 15" wheels. This kit is priced about what the SSBC kit is, maybe a bit less. The other kit is called the "track" kit. Used 13" rotors and the same PBR...

65 - Front end feels light.

Adding some caster will make the car feel alot more stable, I run around +3.5, makes the car alot more stable at speed. I'm wondering if your getting some toe out on suspension extension. You could check by jacking the car up a couple inches from the front crossmember and measure toe before...

Cobra Automotive fiberglass Cobra R apron quality

I have alot of different fiberglass parts, the cobra front apron was by far the best quality of them all. Minimal if any work is needed to make it fit the stock fenders.

Shelby 1" drop vs 1 3/4" negative wedge drop

John, Your work is looking awesome!! I had a question and a pic that i could share. I was wondering why your not welding the new box section at the edge of the arm? Have you thought about a screw in balljoint, seem like it would be really easy to include the edge of the balljoint bung in...

New technique to rolling a fender....will it work?

Be careful when cutting, the end of the fender is two pieces. When you cut it you leave the ends open, good palce for rust to start forming. I reallly like the baseball bat trick. A wooden ball bat wrapped in beach towell, couple big guy sttting on the fender and roll the car back kand forth...

    doing paint at home

I'm right in the middle of a home paint job. It is a huge amount of work. I have put up a DIY paint booth (more to keep the paint contained then keep crap out). If i had the money, i would have much rather payed to have it done. I've been at it for 3 months and i'm ready to be done...

Pics of classic stangs w/ black steel/wagon wheels

The race wheels (non-DOT) are usually much lighter then the street versions, and would not stand up to everyday driving without issues. The Paulson wheels are very nice for the price. I'm going slightly bigger on my car and switching to 17" aluminum wheel I wish i could have found cheap 17"'s

Pics of classic stangs w/ black steel/wagon wheels

Those would work on a drum brake car. That particular wheel is not really for street driving (not DOT approved). The size should fit though 16x8 with 4.5 BS. Might need to roll your fender edges for the 225/50 that are on the car.

These are Diamond Racing wheels in 16x8. Pete Paulson also carries some nice steel wheels with backspacings that will fit the early Mustang

    Curing Bumpsteer?

First thiing, find out if you have a bump-steer problem. Set your car up on level spot and measure the amount of toe change you experience as your suspension travels up and down. Removing your springs and setting up some kind of measuring device would be nessasary. The Pro-motorsports bump kit...

    Spindels??

Yes, the 65-66 cars used the same spindles for disk and drum. Since your looking for spindles, try and find some drum spindles from a 70-73 Mustang. Alot stronger and everything bolts up fine. You'll need the outer tie rod from the later car and wheel bearings A12 and A13 to make the early...
